These were easy to set up right out of the box. I plugged in the base unit and satellites, and downloaded the Orbi app. It walked me through the rest. About 25 minutes later my network was up and running.

The app is basic, and the prompts to subscribe to random netgear subcription services annoying but it is the fastest system especially when you dont have the option for wired backhaul

Upgraded from original Google mesh system. No longer have any dead spots and the signal reaches my shed about 75 feet behind my house.

Ive got a cemetary of old routers and mesh ive used over the years. This is without a doubt the best I've used.

Excellent product. its the bet router I've used. my speed went from 325 mbps to 877 mbps.

I bought this system with an extra satellite and was blown away at the performance and simplicity. However, as time progressed, the novelty wore off and this very expensive system is causing me more headache than my older one at a fraction of the price. 11 months into it, my wifi speeds sporadically drop from 700-800MBPs to 5-10MBPs, making most of my devices useless. (Of course since 12 months is the replacement period and now my troubleshooting has gone beyond that) If you want support from NetGear, you have to pay for what they call "Pro Support" which is anything but. I have been going back and forth with them for nearly 6 weeks, and they basically are trying to get me to go away. I have sent countless log files, screenshots, etc. They take it for days and then ask for more without offering any type of ETA or resolution. They do not return calls when they say they will, nor are they very responsive to emails. And each agent will tell you something different so if you engage I would advise you to take good notes. Ask for a supervisor, there is never one available and they won't call you back... Therefore, I would proceed with caution and not expect much if you need help. (It's also misleading that most of what is on the box is only included for 30 days without paying additional fees).

So far so good! These things have maxed out my internet speeds. It's a little annoying setting everything up but once it's going.. It goes hard!

This is an excellent system for a large house with multiple floors. Very easy to setup and maintain. Well worth the money if you have a large house or area.

Extremely robust system. Hooked it up jn 7000 ft2 house. All done with wireless backhaul. Main router unit on main floor and one satellite in basement, one on third floor. The original router had at best 50 mbps download speed, standing next to it; but nothing on third floor. Now 374 mbps everywhere as download speed. 8 tvs all work well. All smart home devices and tvs are on the iot ssid whjch separates them from stealing bandwidth from ipads, iphones etc.

Works great night and day from my old system. Set up was easy and simple and quick.

I bought this for newly installed 2 gig fiber service. The wireless seems to do a good enough job but I never got around to setting the mesh up because the wired connection couldn't compete with the internet providers router. On theirs I got 2.3down/up. With the Orbi I get 1.8down/2.3 up, this is in a test environment with the same cables and only one device on the router(s). I put in a support ticket with netgear and not only are they slow to respond they ask questions like if I'm connected to 2.4 or 5ghz signal when I told them the issue is the wired connection. While I was waiting on a response I went ahead and bought the Asus ZenWiFi Pro ET12. Again, on the same cables it maxes out at 2.3 down/up. So it would seem that the orbi has some kind of issue reaching the maximum speed downstream. I wish support would take some interest in the ticket and solve the issue as I think it has more features than the Asus but I can't leave 0.5 gig downstream on the table for features. I plan on returning it next week if support doesn't start doing a better job. I wouldn't buy this product if you were planning on taking advantage of a plan that is greater than 1.5 gig down.

Got the Orbi when I had fiber installed to the house. Super fast and high signal strength even to my outdoor office. Great for wireless streaming.

My speeds stay consistently around 400 even though i feel i should be a bit more as i have a gig service im still happy its consistent

Upgrade from our previous Orbi. Easy set up and supports a lot more devices. Independent network for iot devices is nice to have.

Upgraded from a first gen Orbi network. Easy setup, love the separation for IoT devices. Guest network was a nice perk too.

Amazing performance in this trio of devices! Definitely an upgrade on our 750 series!
