Ya - I am the same person who left the review for the 2 satellite system. Anyway - this system is a great idea. But the firmware upgrade made it useless. If you read the Netgear forums you will see version 210 caused a lot of issues. So if Netgear is putting out updates that have this poor of quality and breaking users - I want no part of it. So if you are reading this after version 210 - you may have a better experience - but beware that Netgear will probably break your system at some point and provide very poor support when you ask for help.

I have had it for 4 days and won’t stay connected to the ISP but it is easy to set up and my mom has same model and hasn’t had a problem

I would give a ZERO if I could. This router constantly drops wifi. I am in IT and can find all sorts of the same issues on the inter webs, but rarely find a true fix. Why Netgear is not updating firmware to fix this very common problem baffles me. My 8 year old Apple Router worked MUCH better than this piece of junk! I tried to take it back to Best Buy a few days after my return date, and they would not return it!! Not happy at all and want to warn people to NOT buy this router.

My home internet is poor at best. I was told at the store this would be helpful and found it did not improve things at all even after trouble shooing with Netgear.

We have constant issues with service with both the main and satelite units. I'd recommend spending the extra money to get a better version.

This router adds great coverage replacing my previous single, Wireless-N Router. However, be aware that the specs listed on the Best Buy Website are incorrect. The number of physical LAN ports are incorrectly pictured and described. The RBK43-200NAS router has 3 LAN ports, and each of the Satellites have 2 LAN ports. I gave 1 star due to the fact that the product received did not meet my expectations as promoted and I needed to have a couple switches due to the unmet expectations.

Piece of crap. stopped working after about a year. No time to reinstall it. Waste of money.

Bought to enhance coverage of ATT DSL signal. Easy to set up but doesn’t work

Having a large family I spent the extra money hoping to have a system that multiple people could be connected to without issue. We experienced getting kicked off often and had to reboot frequently. I spent a lot of time on the phone with Netgear support making sure the settings were correct. In the end I returned it and bought the Google Wifi System. It has been fantastic.

I did get a little improvement in range but it always goes down. Don’t think it is worth money.

This has never worked properly. Netgear refuses to assist or admit that their equipment is faulty. Thousands of people complain about the same issue, yet they want to charge you do diagnose the issue to confirm that it is the same issue that thousands complain about. it is junk

Satellites frequently turn magenta and amber in 2300 sq ft house. Not satisfied at all. This product was recommended by the Best Buy In-Home Consultation team after home visit and inspection. Will be returning soon and look for a different brand.

Router quit after a power outage and support doesn’t have the inventory to make it right at the moment. Please call back in a day or two. Netgear has really gone down hill. I have never heard that kind of response from a produce failure under warranty

We have had many products for security purposes. This one sucks. We thought with having one for every floor it would be better. But, no this one takes forever to load. I would not recommend this to anyone that needs to use mulitiply devises. Sorry.

Year and half the router became toast. Unfortunately I won’t be buying another Orbi due to the unreliability of this product. Now with everything happening the pickings on what is available is horrible.

Router constantly drops internet connection. Netgear tech support just keeps asking to reboot or change firmware. This only last for a short time and the router will drop internet connection again daily

Do not buy these. I have 7 years of IT experience and manage a network engineering team at a corporate level and it takes me 2+ hours to fix these after a power outage.

I bought this after I started using streaming TV. A tech from Best Buy thought it would improve the poor performance I was getting from streaming TV. It has not and I would like to return it.

I had heard really good things about this mesh system but unfortunately didn’t work well with my internet service, Linksys was the right mesh system for me
