Signal in house in county was poor. This helped a lot.

Finally after many years of research and many $ spent looking for fast and reliable internet router, this new mesh system covered my entire house. Problem solved! The only remaining problem is still ”Spectrum” that in contrary of their great promises, slows down the speed of the internet connect almost on daily basis!!!

Love the Orbi system, it is so intuitive and logical to use!

I would like to preface this review with me being a network architect for the last 30 years. I build very large networks for living. You know the new-ish Boston Convention Center? Yes- that big. So... an Orbi setup should be child's play, right? Not so fast. while setup is intuitive, the results are less than stellar. In my scenario I have to run the Orbi in AP mode (fully supported according to Netgear). When in AP mode, all satellites glow magenta or purple or whatever that color constantly. I have tried hard resets across all devices, I have tried resync-ing the satellites many times. To be honest, the system sort of works, but the GUI is a mess - it does not show satellites connected, but you can see them in the "connected devices" list along myriad of other half- baked features. One satellite connects to the router, but still extends the ORBI30 default SSID... and no amount of hard resets will cure it... and did I mention the magenta light on all satellites that does not turn off? I already have nightlights across the house. Cheaper ones too. Then there are the network drops. Inconsistent, random and without rhyme or reason (all satellites are direct line of sight) and the furthest one is 50 feet away). So... this thing looks like a school project... and is promptly going back to Best Buy. What a shame.

I got this one because it was good for up to 8000 sq ft. I wanted it to work outside and down in the barn. It does that just fine. It automatically goes right to WiFi when I pull into my really long driveway. I wanted it to work outside, when I'm doing chores on my property I can rely on a good connection. Works good

I had a number of dead wifi spots in my home. The Orbi completely changed the coverage and strength of reception throughout the house. I highly recommend the Orbi. The installation by the Geek Squad was very professional and the technician took a great deal of time to analyze optimal placement of the Orbi units.

Great product, getting signal all over the house!!

I bought this after upgrading my home i ternet to 1GB from Spectrum. But the equipment they give you has known issues dropping users from the network. So i ponied up the $500 bucks for this and havent have an issue since. I have 2 nodes downstairs and the main/3rd node upstairs. No drops anywhere/anytime.

It’s a good home WiFi system but slightly glitchy. It set up very easily but periodically looses connection to the home base for no apperent reason. It usually happens when we have several streaming TVs going at the same time. Not sure if that’s the cause or the only time we notice.

Well after getting over the PRICE. I must say I was impressed. Setup with app was seemeleas, had it up an run in within 20 minutes. I have a 2880 square foot house and it covers the entire house and even covers the 1200 square foot garage. Now I hope for the PRICE it continues work

They refused to help me operate it once it went down. I called customer service and after waiting for over a half hour was told they would fix the problem if I paid for a maintenance plan of 189 or something like that. I paid and they fixed the problem.

Love the internet coverage. I have excellent coverage in all 3 levels of the house and even outside. Best purchase I ever made. Have several smart TV's, wireless printers so use a lot of band with. The Orbi really can handle it.

Better than I hoped for! We have cement floors with radiant heat in them - and our old router could not get the signal through to the second floor. Now with Orbi the signal goes through! Amazing! It is expensive but I highly recommend it!

Upgraded from an abysmal old WiFi with download speeds often as low as 1 Mb/s, generally 4-5 on my phone. Now in excess of 100 Mb/s everywhere in my large house!! It is totally amazing!! Was recommend by a tech expert an he knows his stuff! I am a believer!
