A: My home is 5100 sq ft L-shaped, two floors and made out of stone, brick and stucco with spray foam insulation in every wall, ceiling and attics. This is the strongest network that I have found after years of trying access points and extenders.
Q: What is he effective range of a single router? What is the effective range of a single satellite?
A: I can say I have my satellites 60 feet plus away from my router and I see no loss. I also test my speed over 200 feet away without loss.
Q: What is the range of the WiFi and do walls restrict the distance
A: i have a 4000sq ft house with many walls (4 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, numerous closets and storage). This system hasn’t failed me yet. My only hiccup was getting wifi outside on my 2 acres. I just purchased the exterior extender last week. I installed it near by my pool area, about 50 feet from the main Orbi. So far its great but havnt gone to the end of the property yet. I was mainly wanting my pool area covered which this system was having a difficult time reaching the pool area. But inside, great coverage with over 30 devices connected to it.

A: Yes, seems to be the same product, just a sky name difference for the additional satellite. I purchase the 4 and we are very happy with it’s performance.
A: Yes, but if you approve the connection on your phone App, no password is needed. FYI, the password is located on the sticker and underneath the main router.
A: You can add more or strategically placed the satellites. Believe the app has a tool to help assist with locating the satellites.
