Yes the cost is high but after a quick set up my whole family was happy with me, yes despite the price. I would reccomend this!

At last I have whole house wifi. Tried different mesh systems but this is the winner. Fast.

super fast speeds. was really excited...when it worked. had issues with signal dropping several times. checked message boards and it seems that it is a common issue. i updated firmware, restarted, rebooted, re-positioned and it did not work for me. had to return and go for standard router (link sys a9500...real good). also did not like the "smart wifi"...i prefer to choose between 2.4 and 5.0 ghz on my own. returned it after testing it thoroughly for 3 weeks.

Easy set up, works great, love the app. Good coverage in a two story house, using the internet backhaul.

Very good coverage. Wifi is strong and relieable . It is a little pricey but in my opinion it is well worth it.

Have had these about 4 months, and no issues. Plenty of coverage for most single story homes. Only knock: setup was a bit of a pain.

Had a Linksys velop system, replaced it with this and haven't had anymore issues since. Nice and strong signal.

Easy to set up with the app. Much faster with this mesh network than the router that came with fios.

Finally, no dead zones! Streaming video is a breeze also on multiple devices at once. No buffering, no "low bars" - just coverage, always. As an added bonus, it does this with multiple satellites (range extenders) all using the SAME SSID, for both 2.4 and 5Ghz. So you setup all of your devices to connect to "myhomenetwork" (for example) and that is the only connection you need. This is my very best router purchase, and has relegated my Nighthawks into the corner - antennas up, like dead bugs.

So good, when lighting struck my first one, I bought another. It is very pricy however.

Has really extended the wifi coverage to multiple rooms and from basement to 2nd floor

Solved my dead zone issues. Great speed even at the far side of my 2700 square ft home. Expensive but worth it in my opinion.

this thing is amazing!! i have about 6,000 sq foot home 3 floors and i have full bars in every room ! highly recommend it !!

I have been looking for a wifi setup for my home for the longest time that just works and this solution has been the most solid thing out there. I constantly tell people that this is the iPhone of wifi solutions, in that it just works right out of the box. It sometimes scares people away because they think it limits users to one way of doing tings but that is not true at all. You still get all the advance features from Netgear, its just that everything seems to just work perfectly every time.

Internet speed is great throughout the entire house now. Was a little buggy setting up but once the updates actually went through it's been great.

Packaging is very nice. Setup the router piece very quickly but setting up the Satellite was problematic. It took moving it 4 times to sync up. Once I put it in it's final place the signal it provides to the devices connected to it varies up and down constantly. My entire home is only 1500 sq ft, and I am not certain that Orbi can do everything it says it can. I have been using it for 10 days and having 1 wireless network in the house is brilliant. No huge issues, just the constant speed fluctuation from the Satellite. I hope it improves in a future firmware update.

System works great. No dead spots. Wireless through your my house, 3500 feet. Also out side on deck and poolside.

So far I have had NO issues with my wi-fi signals since I switched to the Netgear Orbi. Loving the strength of the signal
