With my previous router I had to always reboot, knock on wood, never had to do it yet. Grandkids can play their online gaming with no problems. I have 16 different devices connected and operating at the same time. Covers the whole home!

I was looking for a way to insure complete high speed coverage in my home. My home is two story where most internet activity takes place on one end of house on first floor and the the othe end of house on second floor. In the past I have tried to have the fastest router with extenders which worked ok but the signal by the extenders would never be as fast as the main router. Also there was the issue of 2.4 or 5 and what band to select for faster speed. Often when I went to 5 for speed I lost signal strength. When I read about the Orbi and the "mesh" coverage I was intrigued. So after installation I tried the speed test app to check connection speed throughout the house and was pleased it basically never varied. I have Comcast Pro Blast and regularly get between 125-150 MBS throughout the house and did not have to worry about which channel. Orbi automatically switches for optimum performance. So I am very pleased with the results and feel I am getting my money's worth in paying for my internet speed throughout the house.

Very happy with this product. My previous router wasn’t delivering the full speed from my ISP, but this one has great coverage, range, and delivers full speed to all areas of the house. Set up was very easy, and we were on line in just a few minutes.

I had gotten the velops system to replace my AC RT3100 as it could no longer support the amount of devices on my network after 5 years. The velops was a disappointment...I couldnt get my full speed, the nodes would drop and have to reconnect but overall it was the lack of speed... ENTER ORBI! Automatically orbi connected to ALL my devices without me having to manually reconnect them to my network I was SHOCKED, set up was easy took about 5-7 mins after everything would reboot and connect. The speeds are fantastic giving me MORE then what I pay from on BOTH units the main router and the secondary node which isnt even backhauled so I was extremely impressed. My home is 1500sqft and a secondary node is over kill but I just it for hardwire purpose to my computer and it works great! Distance is amazing and overall extremely impressed.

This product is super easy to setup and increased my upload and download speeds. My range tripled throughout my house.

Highly recommended. Coverage throughout the whole house. About 3000 sq. ft with lots of turns, walls, (some are stone) and stairs. The speed is way better than the wireless WiFi router from our cable company. Very easy to install. Really, I don't see a downside.

Easy and quick to set up. I have a large home and I am Getting much better coverage than my airport and express got.

I upgraded from a router and a wifi extender only because this seemed "new" & "better". After a couple months of use .. IT IS. No more dead spots and works as advertised .. really easy to set up too. The extender used to drop its connection here and there & i would find myself looking at my phone trying to reconnect to the extender's label in that area. I don't have to do that with the Orbi .. same network from end to end.

I've had the Orbi since June 2019. It works fabulously well! Two units cover the entire house without any difficulty. The speed is great. The ability to add more satellites to extend coverage is a great feature. The only difficulty that I had with it was trying to connect some smart plugs that only work on 2.4 Ghz. These mesh routers only advertise a single SSID Network Name and it decides what network to put it on, 2.4 or 5 Ghz. It was impossible to connect them with the Orbi. So in order to get them on the network, I have a second router in the house that only works on 2.4 Ghz with a different network name and that has done the trick. This is not an issue for the Orbi. As far as I know, all Mesh networks operate this way. Would definitely buy this again and I highly recommend it!

By now, everyone is familiar with the pros and cons of WiFi routers. Most of them are easy to use once they're set up. Taking a device out of the box and putting it into operation, however, is oftentimes a nightmare. I approached the Orbi with some trepidation for this reason. It comes with an extender, too, which could feasibly double the aggravation. To my extremely pleasant surprise, I had no trouble replacing my own network with this new one. In fact, I hooked up a pair of Rokus the following day, and they were harder. And anyone familiar with Rokus knows how user-friendly they are as a rule. As for performance, I have 500MB internet, and the Orbi connections are pushing the upper echelons. This is true of the extender as well as the main device. I have no complaints with this purchase thus far and feel like I picked the right router for the next few years.

I have a two story house with a basement. I had one router on each level, 2 of which were state if the art ac routers which were about 3 years old. I could not get a signal on my deck and decided to try a mesh router. I chose the Netgear Orbi 3000. Following the setup instructions carefully, I found setup to be fairly easy. Now I have lightning fast internet on my deck. I decided to wander in the yard just to see how far away I could get a signal. I got a signal in the corner of my yard 90 feet away from the repeater which is INSIDE the house! Granted, it was spotty that far away, but moving 15 feet closer, it was fast and rock solid. I was shocked! I never dreamed I could get a signal that far away and I would highly recommend this product.

I tried various extenders and nothing worked in my 3,000 square foot apartment. The Orbi worked right away, covering the entire apartment with a good wifi signal. It was easy to set up and it just worked. My only complaint is the price, and I would have returned the product if it didn't work very well, but it did.

After much too long putting up with the crappy router our carrier supplied us, we decided to invest in our own. I shopped around because our house layout poses some challenges to coverage, but I finally settled on the Netgear ORBI, and it's been a great choice. We got the two-unit package, with the main unit and a single satellite, so we have one on the main floor and one upstairs. We've gone from having to reset the router several times a week, minimum, to none at all. If one unit encounters a problem, it auto-resets, diverting traffic temporarily to the other unit, so there's no interruption in coverage. Very stable, and very good coverage for all three floors at our house. And the setup is the easiest part. Download a simple app and it takes you through the steps, with very clear instructions. Kinda spendy in comparison to some other choices, but worth the money in my view. Five stars from me.

Setup was easy. The satellite makes the signal great all over the house! I would recommend this unit for anyone that has dead spots in their house or those who have a failing wireless router.

I got these because it was about time for an upgrade; we were using a very (10+ years) old LinkSys(?) router and barely had any wifi signal in the garage and backyard, which i thought was pretty lousy. Definitely an improvement in terms of wifi signal for the entire house. Was easy to set up thanks to the step by step instructions on the app. They are kinda big, but at least it's not purple like my old router.

Provides excellent whole house coverage (4000 sq. ft.). It has increased the internet speed up to 10 times in some of the rooms. Very easy to set up, taking approx. 20 minutes. Very intuitive using the Orbi app. A great purchase!
