When I first got this I was hesitant but I read a lot of reviews and I read this one was the best one available in my price range. Hands-down this works and is very very reliable I have a large home approximately 2800 ft.² and an additional room we recently added this device gives me fast high-quality Internet and I love the fact that on the app you can control which device can or cannot use the Internet. This works great in case you have to give your children time off from being on the internet so much. It’s super quick and easy to set up,it works with spectrum!

Bought as gift for my brother. His house is very spread out and this was the solution he needed to provide robust wireless across his house and outside living space. His previous solution of range extenders was horrible. This product really has been a game changer for his family and how they use the internet.

The devices works very well, I had purchased the Google AC1200 and returned them for the Netgear. I have had very good signal strength throughout my home, no dropped connections and very reliable throughput. The first issue I had was that the devices needed a firmware update prior to being setup, the setup process simply didn't work because the app was expecting a newer version of the firmware. That was extremely frustrating however the on-line chat with support stepped me through the issue. The bigger issue is the mobile app is really useless, it doesn't tell you anything other than you are connected and how many satellites you have. 100% pointless however if Netgear is listening they will fix it, I hope.

This system is by far better than anything I have ever used I the last included a similar system offered by my cable company. My cable supplied modem and router would always struggle to supply the 300 mbps I was supposed to receive. My upstairs WiFi signal was always weak and gaming would have regular lag. This device is bringing in over 300 mbps and experiencing no lag. The app that supports this device is great to use and very user friendly for a novice. Setup of this system can be done by anybody and I do mean anybody. My eight year old wanted to help dear ole dad and she took my phone and followed the instructions on the app and set our system up pretty much by herself.

After doing a lot of research about WiFI mesh systems, I settled on the Orbi as it had many great reviews. My home is not huge,(1700sq ft) and the two devices, router and satellite work great to cover my whole home with WiFi coverage. I had read a lot about these devices, and I had read that you needed to put your Comcast gateway into bridge mode, but that was not the case. I was able to leave it as is, and just turned off the WiFi radios on it. The Orbi connects to one of the ethernet ports on the back of the Comcast gateway, and then it is easy to set up via the Orbi App. I highly suggest getting this device if your Comcast gateway is just not covering your house with enough WiFi coverage.

I purchased this for my in-laws who had trouble getting Wi-Fi signal to the rooms that needed it. Setup was a breeze using the app and the signal and speed have both greatly improved. It's much nicer and easier using the mesh network compared to the traditional extenders. Netgear Orbi is worth every penny.

After some back and fourth between googles wi-fi set up and Orbi I decided to go with Orbi. Main reason was from the testing I viewed online for a larger house the Orbi seemed to be the best fit. I was happy to see it doubled and in some cases tripled the speed I had from Mbps. With my house moving more towards a smart house each day (Whole house speakers, multiple ring devices, Smart lighting, and the many other devices connected to wi-fi we were having issues and pretty slow speed. Our home is 3,600 sq ft with devices in the backyard "California Room" and we have full bars with around 20 devices connected. I would defiantly recommend the Orbi if your looking for faster/smoother wi-fi

With two kids, a wife and I in quarantine, and occupying a 3400 square foot space, we couldn't reliably use out old router to get consistent wifi. We tried these Orbis, and ended up having to use two sets to make our home function. But now we have lightning fast internet and are able to stream, zoom and have the whole house connected with very few interruptions. To say it's night and day since we installed these (we did have a professional hook them up) is an understatement. Reliable steady internet is a must for us. And these fit the bill and then some.

After a 5 minute setup, I now have 250-350 Mbs WiFi throughout the house from my nominal 300 Cox cable internet service. It works, it’s fast and it was easy. Installation was easy: download app to iPhone, connect Orbi base to cable modem (Arris docsis 3.1 functioning as 3.0), power up Orbi, power up satellite, log onto Orbi, set SSID and password. Orbi automatically handles WiFi handoff between base and satellite as well as determining whether 2.4 or 5 GHz connection is appropriate. Of note, the the 2.4 and 5 GHz radios share the same SSID. In my one story 3000 SF house, Orbi signal strength varies from -53 to -57 dB with download speeds of 250 to 350 Mbs.

I like this one. It has great range and great speed. Definitely faster than the Apple Airport I was using. Was easy to set up...mostly. The firmware process wasn't the easiest, but I got it working.

Great for getting more range at home without a big project in the process.

I had an old netgear router worked well with in about 100 feet but living room was about 25 feet away and couldn't get a strong signal and sometimes drop all together. Finally upgraded to the orbi and it doesn't disappoint. Strong signal throughout my house and also outside I don't have any dead zones and gives fast speed. If your looking for something that will cover your home with no dead spots buy the orbi. I think it's way better than the Google wifi and you get faster speeds with no lag whatsoever. I am able to stream 4k movies with no buffer!! It's a must have and of course netgear makes the best wifi, stick with a company that's been doing it for years

I'm in a small concrete block single story home. Lots of walls and sheetrock inside. It's not a wifi friendly environment. This thing fills the inside of the house with fast 5ghz wifi. Outside is where things get spotty. Sometimes an iphone will insist on staying with the satellite, even if the main router is nearby. If I hang out for a bit, it will correct itself. It's just slow roaming around. This mesh system is probably overkill for my small, under 1000sq feet house. But considering it's construction, it seems to fit the bill. I have 10 devices connected at any given time, and the Orbi doesn't seem to struggle at all. It's expensive. That may be my only complaint.

Since we’ve got the Orbi system, we have noticed a significant difference in the connection ability throughout the home. 3,200 sqf two story home works well except a few areas upstairs. Not sure why it doesn’t reach some corners in the home even with one of the Orbi’s upstairs? Overall I would recommend. Internet speeds seem faster as well

I needed a router that would cover over 4500 sq. ft. on one level with a large two sided brick fireplace in the center of the house. This has done wonders. I've been able to get consistent speeds from one end of the house to the other with many devices doing Zoom session and streaming video at the same time. It was a little more expensive but it has proved its worth with everyone having consistent speeds while working and doing school from home.

This device has great coverage and easy to setup. Provided higher speeds than my previous devices on the same internet service provider.

So like everyone else, I needed to speed up my WiFi while working from home. My Fios gateway couldn’t handle all the demands put on it for WiFi. I bought this system after hours of research and have it connected as an AP controlling all devices. It’s insanely fast and easy to use. Only thing I don’t like is that unless I disconnect the Ethernet to the gateway and use this solely as a router (which I might), you lose parental controls and other controls. I’m considering using the gateway solely for the TV and letting this system truly do all the work.

I was paying $150 a month to an internet provider and getting 30mbps in my den. Someone recommended I get the Orbi to make sure both levels of my house and all my square footage was covered. Now with the same service I get 250+ Mbps in my den. Simply the best purchase I have made in a long time.

Upgraded to the Orbi and now I have no dead spots of WiFi in my 2400 sq ft home. Easy to set up and informative web interface. Now getting full speed of my internet service.
