This device replaced my older NetGear router and range extender. Very easy to setup. Excellent and reliable WiFi speed. I have a raised ranch style house. The main unit was attached to my WiFi router in one of the bedrooms. The second unit was placed in the TV room at the center of the house downstairs from the main unit. I am able to stream high definition video in the TV room without any issues.

We were having issues getting a signal in our back deck. With the Orbi, we have a strong signal throughout 3 floors, back deck, front lawn, etc. It works exactly as advertised. One tip: make sure to disconnect all the electronics that use WIFI. You will need to reset everything. I didn't initially disconnect our "smart" TV and it didn't work in connecting well, until I unplugged and re-plugged it.

SOOOOO nice to only have 1 SSID over a 5000sq ft house. Excellent coverage as well. Eliminated dead spots. Easy to set up. Only took 2 tries to link 2 together.

The coverage pretty much matches the brochure. This was easy to set up. The wireless 'backhaul' is fast. I set up the satellite next to my son's xbox and hardwired his xbox in to the satellite with an Ethernet cable. Downside: -adding another satellite is very expensive. -I don't see a way to do any filtering without signing up for Disney Circle.

This mesh WIFI system easily covers my entire house (approx. 2500 sq ft spread over 3 floors and a garage) and performs flawlessly. No connection issues and handles all devices without an issue. I bought it with the expectation that it will be able to handle more devices in the future and I have no doubt that it will. Already recommended to multiple friends and family.

I bought Orbi to avoid renting from my provider. It wasn’t the cheapest but it is a very intuitive and consistent system. It will pay for itself very quickly.

Best Networking product I have ever owned. It installed effortless and started working immediately. Range is superb which is the reason I selected this product.

I was a little hesitant at first because of the price but wow! I was tired of trying router after router and not getting the performance and connection I wanted. This has been the best money I have spent. Since I purchased the system I have not had issues. I get connection is all corners of my house. Highly recommend this to anyone that needs/wants the best system!

We were having major WiFi issues in our home. This product was easy to set up and has solved our problem. We now can use our laptops, etc. anywhere in our home.

This is the only router system I’ve ever used that seamlessly streams and reconnects with little to no loss of megabytes speed! I wish I would’ve herd of or found these years ago, I’ve had many others that wouldn’t perform half as good as these units and I paid more for some of those others. I waited 1 month to review so that I could fully test it out.

I've been using the Airport Extreme for the past 5 or 6 years. It's been getting us by. However the speeds and the range was lackluster in my household which is a little over 2000 sqft. The only way I would receive close to 200mbps is if I was 10ft from the Extreme and on the 5.0ghz network. My speed would drop more than half just by going upstairs. I did numerous tests with the Airport Extreme throughout the house, on the 2.4 and the 5.0 networks (using an iPhone 7 and a MacBook Pro) and I could clearly tell this Airport Extreme was not cutting it. I've also used an Airport Express in the past and the only way to get it to really work was hardwire from the Extreme. At this point, I would have 4 networks to choose from in the same household (2.0/5.0 networks for both Extreme and Express). Enter the Orbi. By way the simplest set up I've ever used. (I should note that I do not shy away from more advanced options, but why do them if you don't need to). Within 10 minutes I got all wireless devices on the network with their speeds being routed to the fastest option for its respective device (iPhone 7 getting routed to 5.0ghz). Once the Orbi was set up, I ran the same tests and in all the same areas of the house I've been getting close (or more) to the paid speeds of 200mb/35mb. The speeds and not having to continuously toggle between networks when leaving a room was we'll worth the money!

I have purchased numerous WiFi routers in the past and have purchased what I thought was the very best and expensive. This one however not only met my needs but exceeded them. THE BEST router system I have ever purchased. The others are going in the trash along with all their antennas. The Orbi setup is very easy and fast without any complications or freeze ups I have experienced with other products.

I've had the Orbi for over a month now and I am absolutely thrilled with it's performance. Orbi is everything as advertised. I get consistently 85-90 Mbps upload and download on a 75/75 plan. Performance is that good in every room thanks to the Satellite unit, which is designed to be very easy to pair - using pair button on the unit. This tandem is pricey but for good reason. It's a no brainer.

I bought this system primarily to give coverage throughout the house but I was pleasantly surprised by the speed as well. It's fairly easy to setup and if the documentation was a little clearer it would be even better. The software (app as well as web portal) is nothing great to write about but gets the job done. If you are trying to upgrade firmware, it's best to download it and then upload to router.

This was a great product. It works way better than range extenders and you don't lose any speed. I recommend this to everyone. Very pricy but worth the money.

Live in an older place with thick walls and the cable modem is located in one corner of the house. We had connectivity issues at the far ends of the house and when connected the speed was severely degraded (or neighbors signal was stronger). With this unit we are receiving full speed and excellent connection on the far end of the house. I highly recommend.

I now have split second response whether it is surfing the web or working on spreadsheets. Our home is 4,000 sq ft and my office is on the other end of the house from the modem. We’ve upgraded modems to “best” available with little change in speed. Orbi was effortless to install and my speed is extremely fast. Not expensive and so well worth it.

Tried all other kinds of routers that did not reach into the multi floors of our home. The house is 5 levels with an elevator that prevented strong signals and repeaters. This was easy to set up (very easy) and worked the first time to reach all areas of the house. Will most likely get a 3rd to get the most speed out of the top floor. Did have trouble updating and online email support has been good.
