After a few weeks, I’m very satisfied with the Orbi. I have Gigabit internet and get 300-500 mbs download on WiFi. I rent a small place, so range isn’t an issue for me. The app tells you how many satellites you have and which one your device is connected to. I used my desktop to setup the system. Connect your cable modem to the router and then connect your PC cable to the Orbi and your browser should automatically load the setup page. I didn’t try to set it up with my iPad. Mesh WiFi is a bit pricey, but I’m using more wireless devices now and the speeds are worth the price for me.

I purchased and installed my Netgear Orbi router about one month ago. I am extremely pleased with the router. I get very fast and reliable service on all devices throughout my entire house. The only problem I encountered was during the setup; I couldn’t get the satellite unit to sync with the router, but with assistance from Netgear Support, I was able to easily fix the problem. One initial drawback to the Orbi router was the lack of a Guest WiFi network. However, Netgear recently upgraded the Orbi system and now offer a Guest WiFi network option. If you’re looking for a high performance router, the Netgear Orbi router is the one to get.

Works great We have whole house and patio WiFi coverage. A snap to set up. I’m enjoying my gigabyte fiber all over my house

The orbi satellite is a product that is easy to install and activate. It works great extending the signal throughout the whole house.

Worked great for my house -- set one up near my workstation PC and another across the house for an office and bedroom. Easy to set up and pair. Works well with most devices, as long as they can see the SSID (wifi name). If you are setting up smart bulbs or smart devices, make sure you can enter some kind of AP mode or WPS mode to pair them to your wifi. Would definitely recommend and has great coverage.

Covers our 2 story home at 4000 sq ft. Easy to install and secure. Works beautifully.

This mesh router was extremely easy to install, and has proven to be just what I needed to get strong and fast wireless signal throughout my home and lanai.

I have a large house with three levels and this system covers it all. The house is long at 80' from the garage to the back bedrooms and I placed the main unit in the back office that is at one end of the house, then the Satellite was place in the center of the house both on the main floor. Setup was a little problematic as it gave me an error and I thought I didn't finish but it actually did. I ended up calling the help line one time. Overall this thing is super fast and I am getting 200-650 MBPS throughout the house now.

Best wifi system we have bought. We put one upstairs and one on the main floor and now our wifi works perfect without any interruptions, we even get wifi out in the garage.

Easy setup; no more deadspots in house; relieable gaming/streaming throughout house; handles all of my wifi connected devices with no problem.

Worked really good in distant rooms and for the outside pool area.. Very easy to install and program. If a 71 year old Kentucky Hillbilly can do it anybody can!!

Look fashionable. Took a while to set it up though. Otherwise it works fine. We had to need to reset our Google accounts for the router.

Works as advertised. No issues setting up, howver had to use the guest networks for my devices that could only connect to 2.4Ghz networks.

Our home is 1800 square feet over three floors, and we have 14 sources using our internet. We were having dead zones and slow WiFi. The Orbi system completely solved our issues! It is easy to set up, and the app is very useful in managing the system. One thing to point out: if you ever have to reset the router, or it gets unplugged, remember to resync the satellite! It’s simple to do; and if there are any issues syncing the two, just unplug the router for 30 seconds and push the resync buttons. Love our Orbi system!

This router is a no brainer for someone with a big house. Helps to distribute wifi signals all over the house. Easy setup. A little high on the price is the only downside

Very happy with our new Orbi! We don’t have a huge home, but have enough devices spread from on end of the house to the other that some had difficulty reaching the router. The Orbi satellite allows for better connections to these devices, plus in our case, we can now “see” our network from further away outside our house! Working in the garage I can now check things on the internet without jumping to my cellular network. Plus, using the Orbi app I can see what’s going on and make changes to it from my phone. We are happy with our purchase.

This Orbi set has helped eliminate dead spots in our house with WiFi coverage in our front and back yards as an added bonus. Our home is only about 1500 sq ft but other routers couldn’t get through our whole house as multiple walls and one wall with piping of the bathroom and kitchen are between the office with the router and the other side of the home where our living room is. Handles all devices as expected and our full speeds of 200 mbps that we pay for are tested perfect all throughout.
