This Orbi system is an extremely nice product, the aesthetics of the orbi allow for placement anywhere in the home. The orbi system is extemely easy to setup and has a user friendly interface. The engineering design using one 5.0 GHz band for back haul to link the Orbi router to satellites stations provide coverage over large house and multiple floors (my 2431 sq foot house is saturated in useable wifi that I couldn't ascertain before even with extenders)

I purchased the Orbi after a lot of research and discussions with some people in the know. They are larger than I anticipated so have to hide them a bit as they aren't the prettiest things. However, the improvement of signal across the two levels of my home has been astounding. There's only about a 20% degradation in speed where previously, with a single multi-antenna router, the loss was over 50% I'm very pleased with the ease of setup and performance.

I purchased my Orbi to help improve the wi-fi coverage in my house, and after the initial setup, it worked great! My only complaint was that when I initially set it up, I changed the SSID and the password from the defaults and I had troubles getting devices connected. However, I did a factory reset and left everything as delivered (including their random secure password) and it has worked flawlessly since. I would definitely recommend this to anyone with wi-fi coverage troubles in their house.

I like the ease of the setup, I don't like the lack of features with the current firmware that is available. One of the things that it lacks is the ability to separate out the 2.4 and 5Ghz into different SSIDs. There is a hack you can do via the CLI but it didn't work with the latest version of firmware. The channel choices for 5Ghz are also quite restrictive of what you can choose.

Perfect for two story homes. My home’s 2400 sq ft and I still get good WiFi signal outside for the ring cameras/backyard use. I recommend this! Used to have a 2 in 1 setup but it kept dropping offline and randomly disconnecting zoom classes, AppleTV, ring cameras,... This is robust and we are actually getting the 200mb/sec internet speeds we’re paying for.

I was impressed with the ease of setup and the overall performance. My only gripe is over the price for additional satellite units.

I got this because I was having spots in my house that did not get the full speed as other areas that were closer to the router. This has fixed that, with the Satellite AP can be were I need the speed. Now I got 300 - 400 MB/s everywhere on my wireless devices. I did have to send in the Satellite for a replacement after about 6 months.

Easy setup and the coverage is about what is claimed...it does drop connection a bit but reconnects quickly

Set up the new ORBI with main unit near the PC, second unit on second floor. Neighbors 5000 feet and more see my wifi signal and beg to connect. No Way let others into a great network

Coverage is excellent and the signal strength is great. Paying for 100mps and test shows 117mps

Initial set up with the app was quick and easy. However, this resulted in dead spots in the house where my prior wifi system worked. Had to contact customer support and be walked through alternate channel settings. This improved coverage but I still believe the 6000 SF coverage statement by the manufacturer will not be achievable in my house and may have to get another satellite unit, which is quite expensive.

This was very easy to set-up, and the Wi-Fi coverage around our home has improved radically - even the ability to connect (and remain connected) outside the house. We are now able to stream flawlessly to areas we used to have recurring connection problems and intermittent buffering issues. If you are not satisfied with your current coverage, I would highly recommend this switch, it worked for us.

Got this setup because we have a large house. However, the base unit is good enough that we don't really need the satellite. What I've noticed is with portable items like phones and laptops, you have to manually disconnect and reconnect to get it to use the satellite. I expected this to switch from the base unit to the satellite automatically. Often the phone just disconnects on it's own as you move from one part of the house to another, but it doesn't reconnect.
