I have horrible Wi-Fi in my basement and needed a solution. This set up has made Wi-Fi possible in an area of my house that typically is dead. I would definitely recommend this product into at least give it a try. This product is expensive but worth it. I have no problem setting it up and getting it running it took me probably 10 to 20 minutes

I've been using an older netgear router and was not getting the speeds I've been paying for. My service is for 200 spread and if I was lucky l, I would get around 50 to 75. I purchased this system...and no joking.....I'm now getting 266. The coverage is phenomenal. I have a standard size backyard and I was still getting 266 download speed in the back corner of my lot.

    Netgear Orbi, still solid choice

Had my original AC3000 Orbi router unit since 2017 and it took a death nap last month. Had to buy same model again as I dont have enough play money to buy the upgraded Wifi6 set w/satellites, which is the end goal. The unit has been surprisingly stable for 5 years but like all Netgear product, be careful when doing firmware upgrades. Otherwise it does well for all the streaming, WFH, and Smart Home use its been tasked with. Setup, however, isnt as flawless as they promote. It's still good using the app and such, but it took 2 attempts to get it working right. I didnt have a backup with the latest firmware (my fault) so having to re-add everything back in was a pain. With the extender, definitely have no coverage issues. With router being in basement, I have it wired to the extender on 1st floor and have another one, wireless, on 2nd floor. Separate backhaul channel makes a difference. Signal even carries outside for smart plugs/outlets that are used for holiday lights.

A fantastic product. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that the manual (actually one page foldout sheet) is A JOKE! It's almost like they want you to call the customer support number, wait for 5 minutes, and spend 30 minutes figuring out how to install it properly given your particular network setup. Once it's up and running though, it works spectacularly.

Speed and range are really good, but Netgear should invest a little more time into the app

I always had bad reception on my TVs now my TV comes in crystal clear it was a good choice although not hard to connect I did have somebody help us because I didn’t know if I was going to be able to do it right and I do recommend it and I also would get the warranty with it for $30 for two years because you never know what will go wrong and $30 is not a bad price

Having tried all other Netgear routers, and yes I mean ALL, this product has so far gone above and beyond my expectations. I used to have so many dropouts with regular routers as soon as I went into my backyard, but now I can skype with my kids whilst lazing by the pool, or anywhere else in my house without worry. Setup was extremely simple and fast, and I have not had one issue since the day I bought it.

Love this system! Finally got something that works in our old house that was built in the 70’s. It was a bit tricky going through our old AT&T router, but our grandson hooked it up for us.

I've tried at least 4 other brands of mesh routers and ALL had speed and disconnect issues. This system was simple to set up and the speed and stability have been impressive. If you're connecting it to you existing ATT uverse router, be sure to set the Orbi as an Access Point(AP) rather than a router. This is pricey but believe me, you get what you pay for.

We have a larger house with an upstairs and a lot of rooms. I purchased the package with the two Orbis and we have had no problems with Wi-Fi or streaming to any of our tv's, tablets, phones, radios, etc since we set them up. When I run tests for signal strength they always come back EXCELLENT now. This product does exactly what it says it will do. Worth the money and set up could not be easier.

I bought this wireless system because there were WiFi dead spots in my home. These solved that issue and then some. Also the smartphone app to control the software is the best I’ve ever seen for basic features such as tracking what’s connected to your internet, data usage, parental controls and more.

I really like the ORBI. I had very minor problems setting it up and the overall coverage in my house is awesome. Overall it is FIVE Stars, with one exception. It is great for static devices (TV's, Desktops, Printers, RING Doorbell, etc.) and will connect with fantastic 5GHz speed to the nearest satellite. HOWEVER, if you have a MOBILE device like an iPad or iPhone, it will connect perfectly to the nearest Satellite, BUT if you move from the top floor to the basement (for example), it will try to keep connected to its original bonded ORBI box and will not seamlessly keep your 5GHz connection. It will drop your connection to a 2.4GHz connection with the original ORBI box, instead of seamlessly moving to a 5GHz connection with the closest ORBI box. The only way I have found to fix this is to drop the WIFI connection and reconnect the WIFI connection. When you reconnect, it will grab the nearest ORBI box and connect at a 5GHz speed. If there is a way around this problem, I have not found it.
