This wifi mess system in great. The hubby and i bought it because we didn't want to run eathernet cables through our townhouse. We have all of the game systems upstairs and all the office machines running and nothing has lost a signal yet.

Orbi works great. Had trouble with other routers due to concrete and plater walls. No issue with Orbit

Good coverage for the house, guest network is a nice feature. Mobile app for setup and maintenance just Ok. Doesn’t have newest WiFi standard but don’t think that will be an issue for several years.

The ORBI router by Netgear was an excellent purchase. I was having issues with my old router not getting the signal strength when I was upstairs. Once I purchased the ORBI all of my problems were alleviated. Signal strength is just as good upstairs as downstairs now. Easy to set up and highly recommend.

The Orbi system was easy to set up taking about 15 minutes if that. The router and other unit are about 15 feet from each other and paired with no issue. The signal goes through and/or around a wall that is concrete block covered with aluminum siding into a room on the opposite side without any issue.

Best Router for Fast, Secure, Whole Home WiFi

Most of us struggled with bad Wi-Fi, dead spots at home. It is really hard to find a router even if it is expensive and powerful one, that can cover every room in your house with fast and more importantly reliable wireless. Netgear’s new Orbi router has dedicated Wi-Fi satellites that evenly distribute fast wireless over a dedicated network. The setup is very simple. Router and Satellite up and running less than 5 mins. It consists of two units. There is one main router which always connected to your modem. The second unit called "Satellite" which you to place somewhere "central" in your home. With innovative design and look, you can leave Satellite device anywhere on your house. The traditional wifi extenders slow down wifi speed. However, Orbi Satellite connected with router on dedicated network which provide high speed in wifi throughout the house including backyard. If your house is larger you can add multiple Orbi satellites, all of which communicate over that network to spread signal further. Since it is operating over a dedicated third band, it doesn’t slow down the speed of the router’s main 5GHz and 2.4GHz channels. There should not be any dead spots, as long as you have enough satellites installed, and moving between satellites is seamless. My house is 2766 square foot with 2 stories. With previous high end router with same price of orbi, i used to get good speed if the devices are closer to router. I usually get only 60 mbps on 5Ghz on 2nd floor with my previous router. However, with orbi i am getting close 300+ mbps in second floor and backyard. Also, the another main feature is one SSID instead of two SSIDs for both 2.4 and 5Ghz and orbi is intelligent to find the best signal when you move around the house. I have replaced my existing high end router / extender wit Orbi Router / Satellite and almost 17+ devices are connected as of now. I have listed few main features in Orbi Router / Satellite. Wireless Connectivity AC3000 (1733 + 866 + 400Mbps)† Simultaneous Tri-Band WiFi IEEE® 802.11b/g/n 2.4GHz–256QAM support IEEE® 802.11a/n/ac 5GHz–256QAM support Memory 4GB Flash and 512MB RAM Antenna Six (6) high-performance antennas with high-powered amplifiers Beamforming Implicit/Explicit Beamforming for 2.4 & 5GHz bands (1733 + 866 + 400Mbps)† MU-MIMO MU-MIMO capable for simultaneous data streaming on multiple devices Ports Four (4) 10/100/1000Mbps Gigabit Ethernet ports 1 WAN + 3 LAN for Router 4 LAN for Satellite One (1) USB 2.0 port

This product turned my crappy internet speed and signal and supercharged it. I pay for a Gig and I was only getting 25% of that. Once I connected the Orbi and conducted a speed test, I immediately got 90% of the Gig I was paying for.

This router system is fantastic. I replaced an old Linksys WRT 1900AC that was really out-dated. Orbi is a snap to install and lightning fast. I like the satellite hub. It allows me to have it next to my main computer and bypass the WIFI. Great Item. Highly recommend.

I would highly recommend this. I have installed this in two homes that had wifi connection issues. The speeds are fantastic and I have no concerns at this time. I had read all reviews on similar products including mesh products and found this the best. It is expensive but it does what it promises.

Upgraded from Apple extreme station, I have Comcast 100mbps. This gives me 119mbps speed any where in house , very easy to setup, I gave 4 star because of the app , I wished it gave option to set priority device and was able to detect more device names also the ability of knowing each devices data usage as other brands do.

This mesh router is really amazing. The range is incredible and reliable. It's so strong it even blasts across the street. I only had one issue connecting the satellite orbi, it kept having issues saying it was out of range. But after a couple tries it connected fine. Highly recommended

With COVID, I needed to work from home. Using the ISP provided modem, I was getting mysteriously dropped from meetings using Zoom and MS Teams despite having more than enough bandwidth from the ISP. The Orbi AC3000 solved this issue and now we have no problems. It can support my online meetings, plus one High Schooler and one college student taking streaming classes online. Streaming TV shows works great and we can receive over 200Mbps download speeds anywhere in the house. Setup was a little tricky, because Spectrum required a non-standard setup, but the software app took care of it (It probably took me about 20mins and some googling to figure it out), but it has worked great ever since. Frankly I should have purchased this before, but I didn't realize how cruddy the performance I was getting from the ISP provided router.

After a great deal of research, the Orbi’s speed, security and Disney Circle integration made it the right choice for us. The only problem I experienced came from using the app to set it up. Use the web browser for setup, the use the app and you’ll be fine.

Use these for our church live stream in the sactuary, and so far, have had no issues. The units are about 60 feet apart with no walls. Set up was fairly easy. Read a lot of reviews and these always came up at the top of the lists.

I really like the Orbi Tri system. It was very easy to set up and works very well. My only disappointment is that the cost to add another satellite is too expensive, basically they charge you over a 20% premium to add a 3rd satellite. I would like to buy an additional unit but the cost is a turn off

Nice upgrade and replacement for my N600 system. Better quality of reception throughout house 3 levels with 2 nodes, resolved XBox issues, allows me to use smart TV that was out of range. Would have liked ability to change DHCP range. Would like more controls available to limit kids consumption as offered in higher level system Velop.
