The Orbi replaced another well-known mesh wifi system that failed after only two months. With the help of a Geek Squad tech we were able to exchange the failing unit for the Orbi. The differences were apparent immediatey: Super strong and fast throughout the house (2,800 sq. ft. On two floors). Signicantly, we have experienced zero failures of our smart home technology. The previous system frequently dropped devices, making our smart home not so smart. Worth the money.

I had wifi coverage issues all over my house before Orbi. I used wifi extenders and all kinds of effort to get basic wifi coverage throughout my house. I decided to try Orbi after reading other reviews, and I wish I would've done it sooner. It's worth every penny of the price (expensive)! Easy to set up, and no problems since I brought it home. Strong signal even out in my yard, and no dropped coverage even moving throughout the house between the mainland satellite. Sick of troubleshooting wifi problems constantly? Get Orbi!

I had the google home and I had a gig of internet it did ok when I switched to this I got the speed I was looking for

This set sets up as easily as they say. Blasts throughout the house. Lost power and they reset perfectly. Cant recommend them enough.

Great router. Setup is easy and range is very good. Blends in the area better than the routers with the multiple antennas.

This is a great product and super easy to set up. It connects the distance I need with a full signal strength. I highly recommend.

How many times have you seen routers with the usual antennas everywhere? Not this time! This has a super cool look, but works incredibly well too! It isn't small, but none of the newer routers are small. But, if it has to be larger, it might as well look cool! And it does! The kit comes with the main unit and the satellite unit. Setup was a breeze, and the unit just works. No messing around with failed set ups, nor any issues with range - this thing says 4000 feet, and I don't know about that as my house is only about 1,500 sq. feet but it does go very far. I'm really pleased with the looks AND the functionality. AND to top it off, it has 4 ethernet ports on the satellite, so you can plug into the wireless satellite vs. using the WIFI connection, I suppose this would be great for gaming. While it says it has 6 antennas (nowadays the more antennas the better?) you don't see them, so it is really sharp looking! As for speed, I find that the full FIOS speed I have (80 Mbps down and up) is achieved via WIFI, for multiple users at the same time-yes, I tried it and it was super fast with no lag. We had multiple users doing data intensive things, and never saw a stutter or slow down in speed. Way to go NETGEAR, another great product!

Easy to set up. Expanded our WiFi throughout the house. I would recommend this to anyone looking to have WiFi throughout the house.

Very easy to install and use. My old one broke down on me and I needed a new one and saw this on sale and was worth it.

I've only had this for just shy of a week, but so far it's been awesome. I pay for 100mbps download speed from Spectrum, and combined with my new modem, I get an average of 117mbps download and 11-12mbps upload, which is great. The only downside so far is that it chooses which band (2.4ghz or 5.0ghz) to put my devices on, which I don't really care for. It's annoying that sometimes a device that should be on the 5ghz band will randomly switch to the 2.4ghz band. But it's not too bad of an issue.

Updated our wi-fi to these and have been very pleased with performance and ease of use.

Overall pleased with the product but I have recently experienced issues right at the 2 year mark on connectivity. Traditionally I had internet all the way down the backyard (we are on an acre) but now my entire downstairs is sluggish and unresponsive. Swapping to a new one this week and we shall see if that fixes the problem.

I didn’t expect too much from this product but I was ready to give it a try and what a surprise. Works better than expected.

I think every household should have this product. Its signal strength is by far the best on the market. Way to go Netgear!
