Drops WiFi randomly

I very concerned because I purchased for my cameras around my home. With the new return policy of 15 days I can not return. I will be reaching out to Netgear about there warranty! I usually purchase the product protection but I did not because I have used Netgear products for a very long time. I'm truly disappointed in this product randomly. Last night it dropped the internet at 10:00 at night right before bed and I had to get up reset it to get it back online for the camera's. This is very disappointed. This is very unacceptable. I will be reaching out to next year. Hopefully the product warranty will cover a replacement. It has randomly dropped the internet the Wi-Fi multiple times within the last 3 weeks

This Won't Solve All Your Problems

He told me that if I bought one of these it would solve all my issues. I went ahead and bought an Orbi and an additional satellite. We still have connectivity issues and at such a steep price, I am not in a hurry to buy yet another satellite to put on somewhere else in my house, but I might have to.

Look good, simple to setup. great range

He described it as "The future of WiFi systems" with greater range. Connection was very easy and straight forward. After connecting base unit, I was able to try the second unit in several locations. We live in a 2 story, 3800 Sq Ft. home. Coverage is great and I am still playing with placement to find best location to provide coverage on our large backyard deck. .

Drops Wi-Fi for not reason, firmware still bad

Owned for 4 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.It really seems like every "Home solution mesh Wi-Fi" system has some flaw to them regardless of price point, this Orbi is not exception to that. The reason why I chose Orbi system over other mesh Wi-Fi systems is because of the Advanced web interface that other products do not offer, and of course the good reviews of this product. I chose to ignore some of the reviews thinking that software upgrades should have fixed the issues with earlier models, however that is not the case. While I'm sure they fixed most of the early issues. I am still experiencing network drops for not apparent reason every day, usually lasting a few minutes. I have tried every single advanced method I could find online, from downgrading firmware, to separating the Wi-Fi bands, to changing advanced settings, none of it seems to help solve the issue. For the amount of money these companies charge for simple home Wi-Fi solutions no user should have to rely on these methods to fix a product that should work from the start. In the end I reset the Orbi to stock configurations and accepted that it will drop my Wi-Fi every day, it seems most of these "Wi-Fi Solutions" are all the same

Work but not big enough for my application
