After being endlessly frustrated by WiFi deadzones in various areas of my house, I started to research solutions. I narrowed my choice down to the Orbi and the Velop. I chose the Orbi due to its dedicated back channel for the satellites to communicate with each other without impacting my WiFi signal. I am happy to report there are no more deadzones and my WiFi range is fully reachable to from any where around my yard. Get this and you won't be disappointed.

Great product easy to use... would buy again... little on the expensive side

We have tried several $200+ wireless routers, and the Orbi is the best by far. We have really good coverage through your entire home (1850 sq. ft.), and we have good coverage outside as well. The routers automatically update firmware and have the ability to track bandwidth usage on a monthly basis. It’s neat to see how much streaming we really do even though our internet is unlimited. We recommend the Netgear Orbi System to everyone!

We always had slow internet...after getting this it seems like our internet has doubled...its amazing! Love it!

Great idea, works well. But randomly drops and needs to be recycled. When that doesn’t happen, works well and easy to setup.

After setting up the system, my measured Wi-Fi speed is significantly faster throughout my home. 4 bars of connection everywhere inside the house. Since I have Verizon Fios, there were specific steps I had to follow to setup the system. If you buy this system, make sure to look up how to setup the Netgear Orbi with Verizon Fios. Setup was not seamless, but I'm also not highly computer savvy. It took less than an hour to setup.

I followed the directions, plugged it in, downloaded the app and I was off and running. Quick and easy.

As stated above I was looking for a way to get coverage on my 1985 2700 sqft two story home. I've tried power line adapters range extenders but to no avail. That's when I ran across this product on line and figured it was worth a shot, and to my surprise it covered my entire house with wifi. Rooms that previously had no coverage now full 40 meg download speeds. I highly recommend you check out this product if you're having the same issues, it just works!

I was looking for a router that would cover all 3 levels of my house. This has worked better that expected.

Orbi provides a connection throughout my house, the porches, and100 feet around the house. It is very good.

This setup is worth the cost to owners of homes that have more than one level, or, a long house with dead spots.

I have a three story house with the cable modem in a top floor corner. I have an R7000 Nighthawk and used wireless extenders to reach my bottom floor Mancave. I hated the "_EXT" versions this system used and the confusion it caused my mobile devices. I hung the Orbi on the Nighthawk in wireless access point mode, set it to a different channel than the Nighthawk and now have universal coverage with a single network name. Works like a charm. Mobile devices switch to the channel with the strongest signal on their own seamlessly.
