This system might be a little overkill, but I wanted to ensure uniform coverage in my multi-level unit. The initial set up is extremely easy and can be done by a novice. However, I experienced a couple of drop outs and lags, which I attributed to the overlap of many other wifi networks near me. Once I changed the channels in the advanced settings, everything stabilized. The info can be found on the Netgear web page.

Purchased the Orbi due to moving into a new house that was larger than the last one. In my precious house there were several parts of the house that lacked decent wi-fi due to distance from the hub. Since the Orbi uses satellites, there are no "dead-zones" in the house and all devices run at very quick speeds as opposed to using range extenders that degrade speed. Overall a great purchase that I am very happy with!

After much deliberation, I selected this router. I am so glad I did. It not only replaced my old router, but was a huge step up. My daughter used to complain about the wireless coverage in her room, even with an extender. Now the wireless coverage is great throughout the house. I It took a few attempts to get the units synched up, but they have been flawless since.

This Netgear AC3000 mesh wifi system is great for a medium sized home.

We run a small business in our house and have a number of devices running simultaneously. For 5 months we tried to work with Comcast, Apple, HP and every other manufacturer without success. One or more of the devices would suddenly drop off the network and we would have to restart the router and go through all sorts of contortions to print again, etc. Once we got the ORBI we haven't had one drop or problems. We LOVE it!
