This is the only WiFi system that's able to cover my entire house. Tried high end ASUS 5400, and always had weak areas specially my living room where it's needed the most. I even tried WiFi extenders also of very good quality and signals were very weak. The ORBI is the only one that covers my house with strong signals in every corner, fast speeds.

So far, I've had no issues with connections dropping or migrating between access points. The app is pretty lacking however. You can change the passwords and see who's connected, but that's about it. No wireless connection testing or seeing that satellite connection strength, so setting it up is mostly trial an error for finding good locations for the access points.

This has been a good little investment in our home Wifi. We needed an upgrade for a while & this was a good choice. Not that big of a fan of the Circle Disney deal, since it seemed to significantly impact our connectivity & I wish there were more options to assign specific devices to which satellite &/or router, but that’s about it.

We have a 3,000 + square foot house with kids running netflix and everything else pulling wifi. We have had this system for a month, and it has been fantastic. I can't believe we suffered so long with our old set up! We did contemplate getting the 3-unit upgraded system, but this one seems to reach all of our areas in the house just fine.

Wi-Fi now much better than it was

Our Wi-Fi is now much better than it was, but not perfect. Perhaps after all the great reviews my expectations were a little too high. With our old Google on hub, we had several dead spots in our two story 3500 sq. Ft. house. Now the dead spots are gone, but not the lightning fast or totally seamless experience i expected. But it is light years ahead of what it was.

works well, but phone app is not very user friendly. Had to use Geek Squad to install since I had two Netgear ethernet adapters that caused interference, resulting in IP address conflicts. In-home technician was very helpful (remote access did not resolve issues since this was something that had to be experienced on-site)

I've had this system for a couple years now, and it continues to work fine. I have a two-story 3400 sq. ft. house, and have had no problems, with one unit on each floor, at opposite ends of the house. It reaches the garage and deck/courtyard without problem. The one concern is that it always shows a "Medium" signal unless you are very close to one of the units, which looks concerning, but I've never actually had a signal strength issue. I would guess my usage is fairly low in terms of bandwidth, since there's only one of me, and I don't have a lot of cameras, etc. It is expensive, especially as newer devices have been released on the market. Also, depending on the configuration of your home, a three unit area might provide better coverage. A solid option, but I can't comment on how it would stack up to some of the newest systems.

Had a netgear router that was not meeting square foot needs for the house. Thus far that has not been an issue for 3000sqft. Covers front and back yards as well and we need it for wifi calls. Was not pleased with customer service as that is an additional cost through netgear. I haven't messed with it much after initial install but will soon to get what I can out of the system.

Our 2 Story home has a heckuva time with consistent a WiFi signal and not only did this do the trick, but it exceeded our expectations. 3 Smart TVs, 2 iPads, 2 work laptops, numerous Smart Home accessories (Alexa, Sonos,...). Spend the money and quit being frustrated.

    Expands network footprint

I was looking to expand my network's footprint to cover hard-to-reach areas in our 2500 ft^2 home. This performed as advertised. Most everything in our house worked without additional configuration. We had some difficulties with a HP Wireless printer seeing multiple wireless nodes that eventually went away after rebooting the device. Happy so far.

I have tried Xfinity pods and Google mesh wifi to get a decent connection in a home theater on the lower level of our home. It would be too difficult to pull cables to the room for an access point. We gave orbi a try and it works perfectly. We stream 4k movies with problem

Good product, with easy setup and management. I had to add a third node because the two pack didn't have enough range to cover my whole house, even though my square footage was well within the stated limits on the box and in ads. Disappointing considering the price is very high.

Inside the box was everything needed to get a home network up and running: the Netgear Orbi base station, Orbi satellite, power supply for each, a network cable, and an easy to understand quick start guide. This product would be perfect for families with a large house, or small business looking for a simple way to add internet access to employees and customers without costly wiring.

I would have given the Orbi 5 stars, but required firmware upgrade that was complicated to do. I have tried wireless extenders in my house on several occasions and never been happy. Orbi with one satellite covers my entire 4000 sqft home with super fast wireless on 1 signal. I would highly recommend it!! I liked it so much that I have recommended and helped setup for several friends.
