The netgear Orbi is my default home wifi system i use with clients. It's never let me down. Setting it up as an access point is more work than in router mode. I ended up calling Netgear for support. Their support was quick and excellent. Client is happy. I use the Orbi in my household also and the family is happy.

I really wanted this Netgear mesh router to work. The features and stats were great. However, I found the connection to the satellite to be very unstable. I've given it three stars because of the potential of this system, the features of the software and the fact that the router by itself works fine. However, Netgear needs to work on their back channel connection to the satellite and the connection stability. There's nothing special about my house that would cause interference or signal blockage. Satellite synced initially, but started having problems the next day. I tried several syncs and two full system resets, kept moving the satellite closer to the router, and finally gave up. Very disappointed. Had the latest firmware on both, too. Ended up returning it. Now looking at Eero, but it doesn't have whitelist MAC filtering for strong access control. Bummer. Wish Netgear's product was more stable.

Brought wire fi throgh brick walls with great connection.

I bought this Orbi because the Wifi in my home was horrible. I was told that maybe if I purchased a better and newer more updated equipment it would improve my signal as I stream quite a bit of tv, games, music etc. I have a 4500sq ft home and this was the best gadget I could find which had great reviews. Unfortunately for me It didn't make much difference. I paid over $600 in updated equipment, but unfortunately I can only think that where I live is the problem, I still have locations where my signal doesn't reach, my tv signal doesn't do well, my cell phone doesn't have the bars that should when there is sufficient signal, and overall its truly bad. This of course is not to say that the equipment itself doesn't work, I am just saying that your location has so much to do, so if you already have a high speed internet above 200mhz and the equipment is new, this doesn't reassure you that you'll have better service/signal.

Great quality product. Does a tremendous job extending WiFi signal over a larger area. Being able to use multiple satellites makes it even better. Availability of satellites for outdoor use really is a useful feature. It is worth the higher cost to get this performance.

The orbi reaches every area of my 3200'foot house.

Works very well and was very easy to hook up. Definitely a good buy

A bit of a hiccup during setup as there was a conflict with my router. I touched base with support who helped me clear it up and Orbi has been fantastic. No more dead zones or black holes in our 2k sq ft home. Its come in real handy during the current crisis.

This was a simple set up and great option for wifi

Operates as advertised. Solved my problems with weak signals when using Zoom, I can now stream on my tv and phone downstairs while my wife confidently works upstairs.

We have 4 of these and also have the outside one. Our house has a steel roof so it’s extremely hard to get a good signal. These work amazing and we have service in our entire house, garage, and pole barn.

I was so tired of having wifi that kept dropping out. I was using a wireless router along with an extender. I started reading up on the mesh systems. After comparing the different ones I opted for Netgear Orbi. What a great system. No more drop outs with my wifi. Especially since I have a multitude of devices on it.

We were having problems with internet signals dropping when multiple systems were running, including smart home lighting, security cameras, multiple laptops etc. Once ORBI was up and running, which was a snap, we not only had no further "dropped" signals, streaming was smooth, fast, and very reliable. Great purchase.

Previously had Google wifi which worked great in a 2000 sqft house. After we moved to a 4000 sqft home, signal dropped significantly. Friend recommended the Orbi, and the troubles went away.

I previously had a tri-band router which was a huge step up already from the leased cable modem/Wi-Fi router bundle from Comcast. But there were still random areas in my house mostly in 2nd floor corners that were totally dead spots. Once I hooked this up. The entire house and backyard are lightning fast.

Easy setup and greatly improved wireless speed all around the house.

Great for non technical and technical folks alike.

I live in a neighborhood subdivision where there are a lot of people. I can always tell when everybody gets home from work because the internet speeds slow way down. Saturday and Sunday's are particularly bad. After I installed the Orbi, our whole family can get on the internet without dreading the experience.
