We just had a new home built and I was adding smart items. Unfortunately my router from the satellite company did not reach all locations of my home. The Orbi AC3000 has made the transition very smooth.

I did tried all of the Routers which includes Nighthawk X10, EA9500 etc and none of them was able to beat the Dead spots in my home even with the Range Extenders. But Orbi just surpassed all of them its a great unit....

I had very slow WiFi signal only because my router was old but I got some good advice and decided to purchase this router and I can tell you its a huge difference in the signal we got.

Well I have spectrum and they font like you changing anything on you router without them, so yea security/privacy out the window. So being able to have full control of your wireless is perfect and wonderful.

I was having trouble getting service through my entire house. I had the nighthawk (awesome for apartments or single level homes) but was having difficulty with service in the upper levels of my house. Problem solved!

New to the electronics world, of high tech I am not qualified to review this product as yet. Depending on the advise of others who are the experts hopefully I have made the right choice.

overall it is a pretty good set up coverage is not as good as rated, i have noticed when connecting to the satellite first few minutes are extremely slow but once you are trying to connect it picks up speed will update after newest firmware update

The Orbi was easy to install and has solved my WiFi connection problems. I had distance issues and too few connection points before the Orbi, and now I am having no problems connecting and maintaining connections.

This ORBI system has cured our many dead spots for internet reception in our home. We have purchased an outdoor extender for our porch and garage. We are enjoying this system.

I was having a lot of trouble with my Iphones and Ipads constantly buffering while using wife from AT&T. Now that I have used Orbi, I have no issues. I am shocked on how well it is. I highly recommend this product!

this simple piece of technology solved our wifi issues so that every room as well as cell phones and devices are able to reliably use wifi 100% of the time. What an enormous difference it made

After some research, I decided to give this mesh a try. Best router mesh I’ve ever had! My whole house, including my backyard, has full strength high-speed WiFi. Great coverage and speed!

The Orbi WiFi system has made our WiFi 100% better than what we previously had. For a family of four (4 iPads, iPhones and laptops) this system has no problem handling it all! No more problems with lagging!

Got this to boost the horrible wifi carrier I have. Guess where live.... so far so good. It definitely helps with an additional network in my 2story home.

I actually have this working somewhat well on 5 GHz band devices now. But it took hours to get through a variety of bugs and problems. Nearly every interface, web UI, phone app, option setting and even login has bugs. Check the Netgear Orbi community forum to see how unhappy customers are with this product. It seems to be getting worse with each new firmware release and there is no method to block automatic updates. Netgear keeps forcing firmware updates which take down your network even if you are in the middle of streaming a movie or on a video conference call. The product management of this product might well be the worst I have ever seen. I'm not sure what is going on at Netgear but the state of this product experience is a really bad sign for them. So 5 GHz performance is very good (thus 2 stars), but some devices will have network freeze issues that can only be resolved by power cycling the router. The 2.4 GHz radio configuration is really bad. I'm still using my old router for my wireless IP security cameras and other 2.4 GHz devices. Cameras couldn't stream hardly at all on the Orbi despite showing a strong signal. From what I can decipher, there is some weird non standard 2.4 GHz broadcast implementation on the Orbi that will cause trouble for certain kinds newer of 2.4 GHz devices. At the end of the day, this is a failed product. It's not a new product so there are no excuses for all these bugs and issues and bad decisions like forcing buggy firmware updates. I cannot recommend this product. I would have returned it for a competitor if wasn't so busy.

after using a few other mesh systems this one has done an incredible job, i am happy with the way this works! i do wish some other features were available on the app but thats okay!

Easy to set up, parental controls are easy to use and setup! We were up and running in under 30 minutes and the speeds were a great pleasure for alll our streaming devices!

This device completely eliminates the problem with signal blockage. You just place both units at the best locations to spread the signal and... no more buffering! So far, it is working great! I would recommend this!

I had a lot of wifi dead zones in my house when I was using a wifi repeater. Since I got thE NETGEAR - Orbi Wi-Fi mesh system, the Wi-Fi has been excellent in every spot in my house.
