Have not compared it to my old netgear extenders. It is currently working great. It shows all attached devices as well as download and upload speeds. I do think security should be less expensive.

I purchased my Orbi system 4 months ago. The setup was easy. It worked well for a few months. Then, all of a sudden, the Orbi began disconnecting from the Internet (it showed the "magenta ring of death" at the top of the device) and there was no way to recover from this issue. After rebooting it, the unit would get the same problem in 2-3 hours. I have to factory-reset the device multiple times, changing ports, changing internet cables, etc. When I factory-reset it, it worked fine for about 3 hours, but then it went back to the same issue. Then I ended up paying for a support contract, $79. they never mentioned that the unity had a known problem. After going on the internet I saw many posts about the same problem. They charged me $16.90 to get the replacement product. I would never buy Net Gear again. They did this to me when I had a problem with their Night Hawk Router.

Needed an upgrade to my current router so decided on these, very much worth it!!

We love our orbi! We had trouble with our wifi and always had to reset it. Since we’ve had orbi, we haven’t had to reset and our devices work faster. Recommend.

I had trouble with WiFi coverage in our house, I tried extenders. Using the Netgear Orbi changed that, great coverage and the mesh technology provides great speed throughout the house.

If all you want this for it internet, it works great. I was so happy that it worked so great. I didn't have to worry about having to switch to different sids. We have a large home with very thick walls. The reason I give it 3 stars and the reason I returned it is because we are a gamer household. When we have family game night, we usually have 4 Xbox Ones going at the same time. It didn't work well at all for us all playing COD, even with changing the settings. I really wanted it to work, but it couldn't handle that like I wish it could've. Unfortunately, I had to switch back to my prior setup, which handles us all playing COD together just fine - two routers.

I like the functionality when the Orbi is exposed, but it has to be in full exposure of the room rather than tucked behind something like a door or a table. So it's aesthetically not pleasing but it functions better that way.

I love this Orbi whole hours WiFi system I no longer have any dead spots from one end of my home to the other. I do have to reset it occasionally.

Just bought the NETGEAR Orbi router and range extender and the reviews are as good as they claim. My wifi is the best it has ever been, totally covering my 3,600 sq ft home and beyond. No more dead spots!

I was not super excited about spending so much for this system but a best buy expert pointed me in the right direction. I get service anywhere in my house and outside. Would recommend to anyone

This is an awesome product. If you’re having Wi-Fi issues, then this is the solution. This sped up our network significantly. I highly recommend.

Love the internet availability, but could have issues with older products that need to connect to a 2.4 GHz network. Not an easy workaround.

We had significant issues with WiFi in our home. We tried many different routers to try to solve to no avail. This fixed it instantly. It also made our Ring security cameras work perfectly.

Slightly expensive, but will give you WiFi signal though out your home. Was expecting a faster signal speed, but seems the same as with the modem-wifi being used by frontier food.

I like the orbi units. I get much better wi-if all over the house. We have many devices (computers, Xbox's, smartphones/iPads) so this system works well for us. I don't get the reception in the backyard at times buts it's rare.

We just bought a 75 inch LG TV and the ORBI mesh WiFi has really seemed to make my internet connection stronger. We know longer have long periods of downloading.

Easy to install and immediately had great coverage in every corner of the house. Really satisfied just was hesitant about it due to the price. But definitely recommended.

This WIFI system has worked great in my 2 story home, Since installing into the house the kids have stopped complaining about the WIFI not working.

I purchased the ORBI System to extend my Wifi range in a 3,500 sq ft house. It is amazing! We have a great signal in EVERY room, I am very pleased with this 3-device system and would highly recommend.

I was having trouble connecting to wifi in my home. The room was a good distance from the router, separated by a wall. I now have service everywhere. Geek Squad set up which was worth the money to me
