Disappointed

I am coming from a AMPLIFI system that worked pretty well, just every time the power went out or it got unpluggged it lost its ability to work properly. So I bought this one. Slows down from time to time. I have a gig speed internet and i have gotten as low as 1 mps, sometimes it just conks out completely. Not very impressed.

Setup Nightmare

Setup was easy. A year later, moved to a new house with the same cable company, Same modem, Internet but no WiFi. Netgear wanted $85 for a tech call. Turned to the netgear forum for advice and tried numerous reboots, rewires and factory resets without success. Hired a local network ‘expert’, 2 hours and $200 later he gave up and recommended I buy a new router. $250 later problem solved. Anyone want a free set of Orbiis? They’re collecting dust.
