    This router does everything it says it will do. I get great wireless access at speeds that I have not seen before from wireless. When I had trouble with WIFI, I tried network over powerline adapters. While they worked, they would disconnect and were susceptible to power surges. I then tried Ethernet over Coax adapters. While they worked, another cable provider said it is not compatible if I switched. Regardless of the powerline or Coax adapters, I still had issues with wifi. Before the Orbi Wireless AC3000, my smart tv would pixelate, and freeze when watching Netflix. The Orbi solved everything. Fairly easy to set up, I now get a strong WIFI signal everywhere in my 4100 sq ft house. I even get a strong signal in my backyard. I was in my neighbors back yard and he didn’t have a signal but mine even reached his yard. This device is great. Speeds on my smart TV are great. Netflix is clear with no freezing or pixels. Works just like it is plugged in directly to the router. I have a provider that comes with a router, this device lets you set it up in AP mode which allows you to use it with your router. All you do is turn the wifi off on the provider router and use the Orbi to broadcast your wifi. The satellite device works from a pretty solid range and puts out a signal stronger than I ever had. Don’t be skeptical, this is the real deal. I am very critical on reviews and rarely give anything a 5 star. This is 5 star.

    Really does not create a good all round network, had to return them and get a high quality extender.

    Doesn't work very well

    I was told I needed it. My cable wifi wasn't strong enough for our house. I have to unplug this on every day for our electronics to be connected.

    Looks nice but....

    I purchased this [on an employee's recommendation] thinking it was the greatest device, but I was poorly disappointed. It didn't even work when i tried connecting devices to it! I was extremely disappointed by this product. Don't buy if you're planning on connecting multiple devices to it! You'll be sorry.

    I purchased this product with high hopes of having a strong wireless network throughout the house. It was great for 24 hours THEN my iPhone could to connect (I spent 24 hours thinking my iPhone was broken) Called customer support and they recommended I return it and exchange for another one. I did - same thing happened again. Returned the product fro credit. The network signal was not stable and faded in and out.

    Do not buy Orbi despite the reviews you see. This is a half baked product that constantly drops internet connect, with impossibly bad WiFi speeds. Further to this, tech support is no help. Their only solution is to update to the latest firmware, and reboot. Do not believe me, see all the bad comments and disappointed customers on Netgear community. Pleas save your money and sanity and buy something else.

    I would not recommend this product. Dropped wi fi when sitting in the living room, 40 feet from it. Went with netgear and love it

    Second Obri Router!

    This is my second Orbi mesh router. I had the RBK40 but for some reason it when haywire on me and there was no way I could get the router to work with the Verizon fios router. I’ve had that router and satellite over 2 yrs now and I couldn’t figure it out and it wasn’t Verizon but Verizon sent me to Netgear and they wanted $100 just for them to troubleshoot the problem. I knew they may be able to help or may not be but I was uncertain and I didn’t want to spend the money without knowing. I may have just gone to Best Buy and buy a new kit like I did. My family and I were living I. A smaller home and we just bought a new home so we’re going to need more coverage so I decided to go with a set of these routers and they are faster than the original ones I originally purchased. These two are a beast. I have over 5,000sq feet of coverage and my home is only 1782sq ft. I may have over done it but I wanted to make sure I had the proper amount of coverage. These were simple to install. Just like the original Orbi mesh routers I had been using. I would definitely recommend this router to anyone and I sold my old router on eBay and they should still be fine. I just couldn’t get it to work and I didn’t want to pay $100 for someone in India to tell me that it’s not working because it’s too I’d and charge me $100. I need to know that my equipment is working because I rely on the WiFi coverage for everything.

    Buggy System. Not works well with HomeKit.

    I bought this Orbi to use smart devices around my house. I'm currently using HomeKit devices. However, the system has failed all to time. Every updates seem to screw up the HomeKit system. If you pay so much money for a wifi system like this, you should expect it to work at least decently. Disappointed.

    Cheap machines

    Wifi keeps shutting down. Netgear wont bother helping me unless I pay for their GEARHEAD support for $140 a year. Either my wifi works and my ethernet wont, or my wifi will work and my ethernet will not work... not worth your money. I've had so many problems with this router since the day of purchase its not even funny.

    Orbi Satellite is terrible

    I have struggled to get the Orbi Satellite to work consistently. Currently all my devices are connected to the Orbi Router and nothing seems to want to connect to Orbi Satellite. I have tried resetting it and updated the firmware to the latest version. I cannot connect either 2.4 or 5 GHz devices to the satellite. For now I am stuck with this thing since I waited too long to return it.

    Kept losing the signal. Constantly had to reboot 3-4 times a day. Finally junked after 6 months.

    This product restricted the sites I could log in to. If allowed I would return it as I haven’t used it other that the first couple months, which I was trying to get it to work.
