This made life so much nicer. I stay connected for half a block outside of my home. Companion software is fantastic. Reboot function from anywhere greatly reduces speed of recovery following port problems. They are a good speed for most

Tried all other kinds of routers that did not reach into the multi floors of our home. The house is 5 levels with an elevator that prevented strong signals and repeaters. This was easy to set up (very easy) and worked the first time to reach all areas of the house. Will most likely get a 3rd to get the most speed out of the top floor. Did have trouble updating and online email support has been good.

Totally fixed the network reception issues in our 1904 sandstone wall house. Previous wifi could not cover all corners and now we have even more coverage.

Replaced a hodge podge group of routers and switches in our house with this thing. Set up couldn't have been easier and the connection and speeds have been excellent. We have been able to stream 4k to the TV while everyone is still on their phones and someone playing a game in another room with no noticeable drop off in speeds. I'm really glad we bought and installed this thing.

I bought this for a 3,500 sq. ft, 2 story house. Coverage was spotty downstairs and the wifi extender I bought did not help. I looked into the mesh network products and decided on the Netgear. I am blown away by the performance. I went from +/- 30 mbps on speed test to 85, in all areas of my house. If you don't mind paying the $$$$, grab this and it will probably solve your home wifi problems.

Great solution to multiple devices and a wide area of coverage. Add this to the fact that it seamlessly swaps the devices between the bands and you have a great way to provide internet to all your devices. I'm using this with all my internet controlled lights, switches, nest devices, etc and home theater, phones and more and having just one router name to connect to makes it easy.

I replaced my Apple AirPort Extreme and Expresses with this mesh wi-fi system. It has provided greater coverage with greater and more consistent speeds throughout my house and back yard. The app on your phone you use to set up is good but not great. And the flashing and pulsing colored LEDs on the router and satellites to communicate status don’t necessarily match what the quick set-up paper says included in the box.

Old stone house with lousy internet coverage until THIS!!! Tried everything over several years & just could not get decent wifi coverage until a Best Buy employee recommended this ORBI setup. I was skeptical, but, I was Wrong! We now have wifi coverage Everywhere in this old house with crazy good speeds! If we had gotten the version with 2 satellites we'd even be covered out in the barn I think!

Bought these to replace my old netgear router that was starting to drop every now and then. The orbis were pretty easy to set up and I was able to put the satellite in my computer room and then hard wire my pc into it which is very nice. So far I am really liking them, there is coverage all over the house (about 3800 sqft).

My cable comes into my cable box in a basement mechanical room. The kitchen is on the opposite end of the house 1 floor up. My sons 2 bedrooms are on the 3rd floor. Total of 5200 sf. We tried many different configurations and routers with extenders but none gave us adequate signal in all places. I waited for ORBI and it was worth it. With the base in the mechanical room I get good signal to the satellite in the kitchen. This gives me excellent signal throughout the house. I now have wireless download speeds of 135 mbs everywhere which matches my direct connection speed on my computer. I used to be 6-10 mbs in the bedrooms and kitchen. The room beside the mechanical room is a TV room with 2 PS4's that are used at the same time and often a 3rd. We also have many wireless phones and devices going at the same time. All work great We did have a problem with switching from the satellite to the base. I emailed the problem to Netgear. A reply email came within a day. I changed 2 settings and problem solved

The range is fantastic. Consistent connection is very good. Occasionally slows to a crawl however with multiple devices connected. I have terrible internet (no availability in my area), so that certainly has something to do with it, but it goes from running very smoothly to all but stopping when 2 or 3 things are going at once. Works better than my 2 yr old high end Netgear for sure though. Biggest complaint is cost. This thing is a bit overpriced.

The Orbi router is a good upgrade for a system but has it's issues. I needed to buy the dual router kit to insure complete coverage in my 1950 sq foot house. Speed is quicker but with lags. It could be Spectrum causing the lag in my 300 mbps service, hard to tell which is at fault. Consistent read on Speedtest at 100 to 150+ Mbps in wireless mode on my MacBook. Satisfactory but not excellent for the price. is it worth the money, you decide?

Installing a new router can sometimes be super frustrating. This one, however, is super easy. And the satellite is an awesome addition- my gaming consoles, which are nowhere near the router, are still plugged in via ethernet into the satellite, and I'm still getting the best ping of anyone in my gaming group. Highly recommend.

We have AT&T U-verse Fiber internet services in our newly built home (3,000+ sq. ft). Our builder put our network box in the garage. The AT&T tech told us that the location of the box (in the garage) may cause slower internet signals because the signal had to go through exterior walls; our builder told us that it shouldn’t interfere with our service to have it in the garage because it’s just drywall and insulation. Oh the conflicting information from two different “experts”. Our internet service initially SUCKED. It was incredibly slow and consistently dropped. I googled a solution for better WiFi in a house over 3,000 sq. ft. and found articles about this system and some others. The reviews looked better on this one so we got it. Installation was easy for a non-techie person like me. It was pretty much plug and play. There’s an app available with simple information—it shows how many connections, the available speed and makes it easy to change the network name and password. That’s more than we had with just the plain WiFi router that came with our service. On a side note, the installer installed a computer port which we plugged this into. One of the reviewers did mention that it was bigger than expected—I’d agree with that. But, I also didn’t look at the measurements of the product. Best Buy matched Amazon’s pricing without any hassle.

Online reviews for this product were mixed. Some said it was wonderful; others said it was hard to set up. I took a chance and bought the product. It was so simple to set up and it covers my house completely, as well as the outside patio. I have no regrets and I highly recommend this wireless router. I love how I can access it with my iPad and make changes if necessary.

While I desperately want this to be the product to bring wifi to every corner of my home... it is not. The coverage is great - the speed is great - and even the set up was quite easy. However, the unit due to a faulty firmware drops connections dozens of times an hour. Due to this, streaming a show is impossible. It has wreaked havok on cloud stored document editing and my Nest cameras are pretty much useless. I have waited 6 weeks for a newer firmware to appear to help these well documented problems, but there is nothing. I will be replacing with something else as soon as I can get a connection long enough to find something online. At this time, I would not recommend this product.
