Had doubts that the device would work as I had heard and read mixed reports. In my experience, my signal was probably “bumped up” by 30-50%. In addition to the increased signal, I love the ease of creating and monitoring the devices on my network as well as the guest network. The ability to limit individual devices is also a plus.

I live in a 3-story townhouse and since the router is located in the first level, I am barely getting any signal in the 3rd level and when I do, it's about 3 to 5 mbps ( I have a 75/75 mbps plan in verizon). Since I installed the Orbi, I am getting about 60/70 mbps in the 3rd level. I am more than satisfied with this product, and setup was pretty easy too.

An amazing product works like magic amplifying the same signal from another room and transporting through out my home with full bars!! Must get

I purchased the Orbi AC3000 and I am impressed by the coverage I get with the wifi. The most impressive thing is there is very little loss of speed no matter where I am at in the house. Truely a must buy for someone who wants whole home coverage (especially if you have multiple levels to your home). I am getting 120+ download on all floors of my house over wifi.

Installation of this mesh router system was a little difficult. I tried to set up both the router and the satellite at the same time, which the directions said you can do. It updated the firmware on the satellite, but then the update on the router hung up. I finally had to shut everything down, reset the router, and start over with just the router. After its firmware updated, then I turned on the satellite and got it working. There was an immediate speed increase in the more remote areas of my house, which was exactly what I was looking for. However, I then discovered that my WEMO light switches and my Broadlink wi-fi plugs would not connect to the network. They are both 2.6 GH only. Neatgear support told me their router would work with those devices, but I was never able to get them to connect, even though I tried all weekend using every approach I could think of. I finally took the Neatgear router back and re-installed my Apple Airport Extreme, which works fine with my other devices. I just have to live with weak signal in some corners of the house. If you don't have legacy internet-of-things devices, I would recommend the Neatgear router for the speed increase and better coverage.

I was able to improve the WiFi coverage in my home but not as much as I had hoped. I have good coverage where the devices are and decent coverage in between. But coverage directly below the devices is not great specially for the 2.4ghz band. I probably needed one more of the devices to get full coverage I was expecting. I am not sure if the price was worth it. But I did keep it

I have the Orbi router and 3 satellites. I have excellent connectivity between my home and two outbuildings. Fred did a great job of installing!

Great system! Lightning fried my last Orbi router so I bought this one to pair up w the other satellites. We stream all 5 tv's in our house & these have no problem keeping up. 4 stars bc of the inflated price if you have to purchase an individual satellite, be sure you buy enough the first time.

The ORBI system provides great wifi through my whole house. 2 stories, 3300 sq feet and get reception everywhere. I had previously used a router and extender, but had to reconnect whenever I went from downstairs to upstairs or the other way. With ORBI I stay connected all over the house, and the connection is good enough to stream videos. Very pleased with this purchase.

I've always been pretty happy with Netgear, but I did a lot of research before making this purchase because it's expensive, but I also wanted to "future proof" myself as much as possible. I narrowed it down to this or Google WiFi, but MU-MIMO availability, and brand familiarity made the difference in the end. I've been really happy with the speed and range of the Orbi.

The latest thing in Wifi for the home is MESH networking where the little access nodes chat with each over--like cell phone towers do when they hand your call off as you drive down road. If you put enough of them in your house you'll have coverage everywhere. I bought into it and purchased a LUMA system. Set up was easy, and best of all, it worked. However, my family still complained of "dropped" internet connections, and poor coverage in spots. I had 3 units in my 2700 sqft house--supposedly enough. I too noticed the wifi signals had a tendency to drop off quickly and while my speedtest.net speeds were well within the promised range of my internet provider--they weren't stellar. So, I put an ORBI in. Major difference. Same deal--I purchased a 2 pack and ordered up a 2nd satellite unit. Haven't heard any complaints about dropped connections, Coverage to my patio is excellent, and SpeedTest.net times are through the roof! While there is an ORBI app, the best way to admin the set up is via the web page--it's pretty much like any other NetGear network router. 4 stars. Missed 5 by lack of built in parental controls (it's there in the set up, but done via a proxy thing as I recall from previous netgear setups) and a pain to work with--LUMA outclassed Orbi in this regard. also, the units, while clean and sleek looking are kinda big--not really able to hide them easily. Final recommendation... buy it if you're looking to expand your wifi or need better coverage and speeds over some of the mesh products. It's good.

Love that I can plug my computer directly into the satellite router. My computer, plugged into the satellite gets 300 mbps for internet speed rather than the 50-70 mbps it was getting prior to my installing the ORBI. Very pleased, excellent internet speeds throughout our 4 bedroom house. Very easy to set up in our home!

Rated 4 stars due to it being a bit pricey. Originally, i had the X8. Had to return the netgear X8 cause of 2.4g instability issues. Guy at Best Buy recommend I go with this one. So far, so good. I Have great wifi throughout my decent sized home. I also have a lot of wifi devices and wired devices. NAS, game systems, 4k TVs, roku's, ipads, laptops cell phones, ip cameras, wifi thermostat... it can handle everything.

Considering our household has 5 gaming PCs and multiple smart home devices, this WiFi maintains an Mbps of 100-200 per computer. It isn't intermittent in the connection which was a huge issue with our previous standard router. It was also extremely easy to set up! I'm very happy with this product!

Provides full speed wireless throughout my entire home. Definitely way better than my previous router and the router from the cable company.

My wife and I were pretty clueless when we went in to talk about routers. We lucked out and had Manny L. Ask us if we needed help! He went through all of our options with some product recommendations. We ended up going with one of his recommended units. Very happy with the experience!

We purchased another product and had to return it. This orbi was amazing to install and the units are really cool to look at in your home.

Soñé weeks of use and first impresión this give better cover over my house. Reached previos not reached spots. And common wifi signal with std Arris modem from service company. Considering then to scale ups my speed internet service

This made all the difference in our signal in and outside of our house. Best way to connect your smart home without losing signal strength.

My house is a little under 3000 sq ft and my first floor is concrete.. my nighthawk wasn’t cutting it. I needed something to push through the concrete walls and reach the dead zones upstairs. I tried the rbk 20 but it didn’t give me my ISP’s full potential speeds. I went one up and, wow. The rbk 50 blasted through the concrete walls and upstairs. The satellite included helped with the dead zones upstairs...there were none. I have full bars all over my house, even on the back porch (we spend a lot of time out there). The only reason I gave this router 4 stars is because I needed to tweak the settings and change the frequency channel because it was I interrupting a lot of Bluetooth in the house and I had to turn down the radio broadcasting to 50% on the 5ghz and 25% on the 2ghz due to the devices that moved around the house often (phones, tablets, etc) were connecting to the furthest router/satellite and giving me poor signal and even dropping the wifi. Once this was done, it was fixed...but you shouldn’t have to tweak anything for this price. Anyway, works really well for concrete houses and large spaces. Would recommend.
