Worth the money!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This system was easy to set up and solved my Wifi dead spot issues. I read plenty of reviews and decided the Orbi was right for me. Glad I did. I have a 4,000 sqft home. I put the main Orbi on the main level on one side of the house and the satellite on the other, now Wifi everywhere.

Great for multi-level homes!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had issues reaching every room in the house and with this it covered the entire square footage and provided my family with streaming speeds and gaming speeds for multiple users and never notice and degradation of service. Went from 50 Mbps on my older system to 230Mbps on this one! Expensive but worth it!

Easy setup, and eliminates dead spots
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I live in a medium sized two story house with lots of dead spots. My internet speeds are high in the office on the second floor (380 mbps), but low downstairs in the family room (12-20 mbps) where we stream movies. After installing the Orbi, in getting almost the same speeds downstairs as I am in the office. Easy install, and great performance.

Best Mesh Networking (after installation...)
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have now purchased 2 of these units with one additional satellite for 2 different homes as well as the eero system for another home. In the past, I have used a combination of PowerLine networking with a separate wireless router configured as an access point or used wireless repeaters to try and cover each home completely. However, my family's wireless devices had to be set up to access at least 2 SSID's with this method and the network speed was always significantly less when not connected to the main router's wireless and within 100 feet of that point. The Netgear units deliver much better performance as long as the main unit can be located so it provides adequate signal to any satellites, but the installation is more difficult since all units require a manual firmware update out of the box with the units in the same room during this process. Although, the eero system delivers enough performance for 1080p streaming with an easier setup and automatic updates, your network connection between your wireless devices for file transfers and gaming won't receive the same level of performance as with the Netgear units. If you have high speed internet with greater than 50 x 20 speeds, you won't be able to receive your full speeds without keeping the units fairly close together (< 40 feet).

Great Investment!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We were tired of paying the cable company, so we bought our own modem. The Geek Squad member was extremely knowledgeable about what we should purchase. It was very easy to install, it is fast, it has a nice sleek look. It was well worth the money to be able to return the cable company's old, worn-out, too-expensive-to-rent modem.

Mesh router system
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So glad I took the plunge on this. I am getting what I pay for from my ISP, I can control what the kids do now as well as turn devices off when needed. Super easy to setup and well worth the upgrade. The 2 piece setup allows coverage for 4000 sq foot home. Very satisfied with this purchase.

Home WiFi
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The set up was very easy. I replaced my existing router. I am very happy about the coverage and internet speed throughout the house. I have a two story 3200 sq ft home snd I get a strong signal in both front and backyard as well. Highly recommend this product.

Solid Wifi Coverage
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this to replace Comcast's lackluster built-in Wifi coverage, and it's worked out fantastically. Both units are quick and easy to set up, nearly all of the default settings were exactly what I wanted from them (which is pretty much the OPPOSITE of where the Comcast settings were at), and it provides solid coverage at full speed, all through the house.

I have been amazed with these routers
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am fairly technical, so I did a lot of research on various mesh and non-mesh routers prior to purchasing these routers. I can say I have never been happier with a wireless router solution than I have been with the Netgear Orbi. They deliver amazing speed, great connectivity, and with the wired backhaul the satellite has no degradation.

Best Mesh system
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Excellent mesh system, with good range and fast internet. I have a few of the add on satellites and it covers almost all of my property. You can also mix these with the outdoor Satellites as well. Been using the orbi system for about a year now and very happy with it

Great Product
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had numerous wifi routers in my current home and one thing or another they never worked perfectly. They would either not have adequate range to hit the whole house or constant disconnects with many of Apple-based products. With the Orbi AC3000 I get great range and rock-solid connections. Great product and glad I purchased.

Pretty good router so far
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I did a lot of research before settling on the Orbi. So far, it has performed pretty well. However, I don’t see a huge improvement over my Linksys WRT router.

Works Great - For Now...
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've gone through a lot of Netgear devices over the years - they work great initially and then tend to fail around a year. So far, this one is no different - set up via the web interface was good (app is useless) and the coverage and connection is excellent - better than the more expensive Nighthawk X10. I hope this one lasts!

Solves any wifi network problems
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have tried using the apple airports to solve my poor wifi issue to no avail. I thought it was the idiosyncrasies of my house that was the problems - 3 foot deep cement walls left over from the 1600s, 3 floors, a large house layout, portions of the house beneath the ground. I also blamed the cable company for sending me a poor connection. After the holidays with all of the new wifi-enabled devices, everyone was constantly losing connection with the wifi, and when everyone was home, we could all forget being able to connect onto the wifi. However, the minute I hooked up the Orbi, I had full wifi strength all over my property - and then some. Ping speed tests showed that I was able to get the download speeds I had been paying for. Our numerous devices that were operating over the wifi were all able to work simultaneously, and at quick speeds. The Orbi was simple to hook up - just two pieces and pretty self-explanatory. I researched other wifi web systems as well as upgrading my router. I think the Orbi offered the best solution for my poor wifi problem. Although expensive in comparison with other systems, I think the Orbi is worth every penny. I have a relatively large house (6000+ sq ft) and am able to get wifi throughout the house as well as outdoors in the yard.

Love my Orbi
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So easy to install, and no issues at all. Make sure to disengage your wifi from your provider's router first, before activating Orbi. I have one downstairs, and one upstairs in a 4,000 sq ft house, and seamless transition at all times. Also includes Disney Circle software, which allows fine tuning of content control for youngsters.

Outstanding mesh network
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Picked this up on sale to replace an old TP-Link router. This bad boy handles 300 gbps and has a dedicated 5ghz channel between base router and satellite units. No signal drop off. I can run 3 video streams simultaneously and hang about 20 devices off of it.

Easy and great performing mesh wifi
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This unit far exceeded my expectations. The gui has been updated and now features more advanced features like port forwarding and vpn. It was easy to setup, and reaches between two houses (as long as I have the units in the window), which are about 100 feet away from each other. Both houses (~1500 sq ft each) have full coverage and even spills into the yards.
