I initially had issues with our Nest Outdoor Cameras disconnecting but with the proper settings (and moving the satellite) this issue has been resolved. Previous router was also halving our internet connection speeds and this router we get full speed at the router (400 Mbps) and about 3/4 speed at the satellite (325 Mpbs) which is impressive.

This replaced our all-in-one modem and has provided amazing service. Whenever we have network issues now, it's always our ISP and never our Wireless. We easily get over 100 Mbps all around the house now.

After reading many reviews both on Best Buy and other websites I decided to give the Netgear Orbi a try. I had a few weak signal spots in my house that my previous router just wasn't able to cover. After installing the Netgear Orbi kit I now coverage that spans my entire house, no more dead spots! I highly recommend this kit, very easy to setup as well.

For my large house I needed this. I had a pretty solid wifi router for a few years, but my new house has the internet in the basement and we need it on the top floor. This does the trick I also love the ethernet plugs for some non wifi devices. I wish this would have been available years ago. Its also easy to setup

I bought the Netgear Orbi after comparing it against other mesh-based WiFi solutions (Google WiFi, Amplifi HD and eero). The out-of-box experience for Netgear was very good. I followed the setup steps as described and everything worked flawlessly. My computer network is not complicated, but it's also not standard. I have a NAS drive that is configured for a static IP, a few servers that require port forwarding, etc. All of them were quite easily replicated in the new Orbi setup. In addition to this, I have several home automation systems (Webcams, Smartthings Hub, Wifi sprinklers, Alexa, etc.). I chose the same Wifi SSID and password as my previous Wifi network and all the devices connected without any problem! The one star that I am taking away is because the signal doesn't seem strong enough from the base station to penetrate a few walls. My main unit is setup in one of the bedrooms where the cable connection comes in and for some reason the signal drops off sharply in another bedroom which is hardly 20 feet away. The satellite unit seems fine because it solved one of the biggest issues for me - viz., getting a solid connection to the far corners of our backyard! Another big advantage that Orbi has over other competitors (at least from my perspective), is that it still provides a traditional full-featured web interface (your standard 192.168.1.1 website) where you can manage all aspects of the router.

This is the very best Netgear router that I have owned from the previous 5 in the past. Excellent range (2250 sqft, 2 story home), and pretty much the fastest internet speed at any point in the house. No extenders required, and therefore no switching between SSID's. Very easy installation. Expensive but worth it. Hopefully it will last for a long time.

A little pricy but easy to set up and monitor. Great coverage of my 3500 square foot house. Getting every ounce of speed I'm paying for from comcast. I may get the outdoor version to cover more of my back yard.

Great router, setup a little confusing

I've had the router for a little under a month and it has been operating fairly well. I get faster wifi speeds than I did with a Google Wifi router I had tried before, and that's great. It was a little confusing to set up at first because of how it referred to satellites and the main router (like it said router, when it meant satellite), and I was unclear if the satellite got set up correctly because I didn't have to scan the QR code on it and also because no light displays on the top when it's actually working. There are also occasionally a few more not-quite-dead spots than there were for Google Wifi, meaning the speeds dip down to <10 mbps even though I'm less than 50ft from the satellite (my connection is ~1 gbps). Right next to the router, I typically get consistent 250-300 mbps speeds which is around what I'd expect these days since I've yet to find a router or a phone/laptop capable of getting better wireless speeds. All-in-all, a good router. I did have to reset to factory settings once shortly after getting it because of intermittent outages, but since that reset, it's been working fine (outside that semi-dead zone issue mentioned earlier). My recommendation is Google Wifi if your internet speed is 200 mbps or less for reliability and ease-of-use/setup, and Orbi if you have faster internet speeds since it has a better infrastructure.

This system has been great, the set up was easy, it not a little time consuming but once it was up and running all of my prior connectivity issues disappeared. I really like the built in security and additional controls provided by NetGear Armor. I am very happy with this product.

Needed a mesh network. I tried these and they work, but a couple faults that were deal breakers. 1 - they are really big and ugly. 2 - super expensive especially if you actually 3 of them. If you have a way to hide the and don't mind the price, these are perfect.

Living in an older home we struggled with our high speed WiFi wing able to reach both ends of our house. After researching we purchased this Orbi system and WOW what a difference. No more signal issues. It’s really fast uploads/downloads, secure and extremely easy to set up.

Pros: Since my previous routers have all been upstairs at one end of the house, the signal has always been weaker downstairs at the opposite end of the house. Orbi solved this - I positioned the satellite unit downstairs (almost beneath the upstairs router). In the area that previously had the slowest speeds, it's delivering my ISP service level of 400 on my mobile phone. Plus, not one occurrence of buffering on streaming TV. Cons: Setup was time consuming and not smooth, requiring multiple resets of the modem to obtain even ethernet connectivity via the router, but after several attempts, it worked and all has been well since then. In summary: Very fast speeds everywhere in a 2800 sq ft 2-story house, connectivity for many devices (2 PCs via ethernet, 3 PCs via wireless, 1 wireless printer, 6 mobile devices, 3 TVs via Roku sticks) with most of those active at a given point in time. More than I wanted to spend, but the speed and range were the selling points for me.

We installed it and immediately noticed how well it sends out the WiFi signal. Covered the whole house, about 6,000 square feet.
