After doing some comparison research and watching some YouTube reviews from CNET and other reviewers we decided to go with Netgear Orbi AC3000 primarily for the tri-band network option. So far it has worked great with no major complaints. We've seen a consistent coonection and an increase in speed while running multiple devices along with our smart appliances.

great product. However, when I had a slight issue with it and called customer service, they tried to charge me in order to fix it so all I would say is that if there’s an issue with it customer service is pretty bad

Waited several years for a solution that would provide coverage across my large one story L shaped home. The modem is at the far corner of the home. I'm extremely pleased with the Orbi and am getting the same amazing 118 down/12 up wireless everywhere in the home that I get wired. Beats all other options currently available.

I replaced my "old" Nighthawk R7000 router with this Orbi set up. My old router was starting to be offline more than on, and I have to say it served its purpose well for the better part of 6 years! With the shelter-in-place situation we are all now living with, 4 of us working and studying from home was stressing our old network, considerably. I have 300mbps service from my cable-provider, but when distributed through my old R7000, I was lucky to get 150mbps to my devices--when it was connected. Out of the box, plugged in, downloaded the Orbi app, and these were up and running in less than 10 mins. No issues. Screaming fast in every corner of the house (in fact according to the speedtest, I am getting OVER 300mbps on every device in every room! We're not gamers, so 300mbps streams all of the 4K TV, music and internet we need. A bit more expensive than the others, but so easy to set up.

Wow! This is definitely an upgrade for our home. We have over 30 plus devices connected(iPads, phones, alarm, ring, nest thermostat and so on). Never skips a beat and hi speed at all times! Covers over 4000sq ft of home/outdoor space. Love this product!

Very easy to set up, multiple devices create one seamless network, no having to switch networks like on an extender. No longer have dead spots anywhere in the house, speeds are great, and it extends quite a ways outside as well. Guest network is handy to have guests/babysitters join easily

The setup and software experience was easy for me. I am getting anywhere between 280-300mbps in most rooms of a 2 floor 2700 sqft house. I have had internet drops very often on Linksys AC1900, but not on this NetGear AC3000.

in perhaps a year, only one incident the other day where internet was fine but orbi was out to lunch? anything that had been connected was complaining? not sure why, but re-powering had all back and functioning with 5 or so minutes. The issue here is IOTs, if u are not present to re-power, then I suggest some sort of timer be used to reset orbi once a day in order to ensure proper connection of wink/hue/...tplink, arlo,d-link, streaming tvs etc iot devices.

The Orbi system is simple to setup and provided great coverage to my 2 level house. Each satellite has 4 Ethernet ports which adds to the value of this product. The only cons I have are that it sometimes fails to update all 3 of the units when a new firmware is released. Also, the USB ports on the units are only USB 2.0. Great value overall.

This router was the best thing for our household. We got coverage throughout our house and backyard and haven’t found any dead spots. It definitely is pricey. But with all the distance learning and remote working going around, well worth the price.

This Orbi mesh router performs as stated. When I first started looking at replacing my current mesh router I was skeptical but, it hasn’t disappointed. Ease of s/u, user friendly app, control of my service, and constant speed is very nice!

OMG....the best ever! We have an old house and large house about 3800 sq ft. It works beautifully!! I would recommend this to all. The crap the cable company gives you isn't worth even having. We had so many issues before the Orbi and now we have NO issues. Buy it ASAP!!!!

Awesome mesh wifi system. Covers the whole house with just one satellite, both upstairs and downstairs. No issues through the walls, full connectivity in every room. Better than a router considering the modem is stashed in the master closet which is in a corner upstairs enclosed.

We purchased this system to gain more consistent wifi throughput throughout a 2,600 sq foot ranch with a FROG. Our previous arrangement: An Arrius router with a TP-Link booster worked OK on the main floor, but we lost a great deal of speed outside of the room with the router. We receive 200/20 service and only obtained those sorts of speeds via the ethernet. On the other side of the house we barely received 10/10 on the 2.4 band and 25-30/20 on the boosted 5.G link. The frog was lucky to obtain 10/10. With the Orbi strategically placed downstairs we receive 180/18 pretty much anywhere except in a 15-foot radius of the refrigerator. The FROG is a different story, it struggles to hold 20/20. If I move the satellite to the FROG, we get superb speed upstairs, but lose it downstairs. So to really stream consistently in that FROG, we'll probably need another satellite, and that entails a $600+ investment. Thus, satellite placement is critical, even moving it five feet within the same room yields dramatically different results. But it DOES work, and it can be upgraded to serve all our needs. I can't say that about other non-mesh systems, nor can I compare it with the Eero system. Also, after a month it has been stable, no buffering, no disconnections.

If you have dead zones...BUY THIS! Don’t focus on the price. I’ve tried several different routers and this is the ONLY one that’s covered every square inch of my house (well outside too). On WiFi I’m getting 480mbs, even on the far sides of my home.
