REMOVED MY CURRENT ROUTER AND INSTALLED THE OBI. NOW I DON'T HAVE TROUBLE WITH BUFFERING ALL THE TIME .

I tired a couple of extended routers and another mesh system before finally getting one that worked for full coverage in our house and with all of our devices (wireless printer, Sonos, IP cameras, Ring doorbell, plus iOS and Windows devices) The speed at the primary and secondary router are both good.

The dedicated back channel for data is what makes the Orbis really shine. With these guys, I get more range and faster wifi throughput with only the base station and one satellite than I did with the base and two satellites using Linksys' Velop system.

Provides strong signal with whole house coverage. Easy setup.

If you are looking for complete wifi coverage for you house without the need of extenders and different account names you need to look at Netgrar Orbi. I had terrible dead spots until I got the Orbi and know I have coverage in every room and corner of my house. Set up was easy and quick.

The start up took a call to customer service (very helpful) which was a hassle. But after an hour or so, everything has been working great. The coverage on our 2 story house is very good and speed is consistently high. We haven’t had any drops so very satisfied.

These give your whole home excellent coverage. Much easier than having dead spots all over the house

I have one unit downstairs and one upstairs. I have no dead zones in my house and all my office equipment is hard wired in to the satellite unit and is just as fast as all my person equipment hard wired into the base unit. Anything that's wireless works great everywhere in my house.

After buying a Netgear Orbi RBK50 Tri-Band WiFi system to replace my old, failing Netgear WNDR4300 WiFi router, aling with a new Netgear VDSL 1/2-ADSL 1/2 modem, I now have faultless hardwired (desktop computer, printer and "internet" work desk phone) and WiFi cellular, Amaxon Fire TV and wireless printer service, as well as WiFi reception INSIDE my steel-sided & roofed pole barn... 100 feet from the house! I went with Netgear over Eero for the established-business timeframe; both are "expensive", but Netgear has been around a lot longer. The was doubt that the signal would reach inside the pole barn- doubt dispelled! Amazon Prime Music thtough my iPhone 6 and internet work perfectly! The "first" router is in the NE corner of the upstairs, hardwired to work items, and the "second" router is about 20' east, next to the E-W hallway. Service 30' West, upstairs and down, as well as 100' away outside to the pole barn (through mostly Celotex polyisocyanurate insulation board on the house, too) is perfect!. I recommend the system!

Easy set up with app! No Complaints. Replaced my Netgear AC1300 and plug in signal extender. I now have no gaps in coverage and a very strong signal on my back porch. While the units are larger than their competitors, ours are hidden amongst the TV boxes and in an office bookshelf.

I bought this whole home mesh router because I have a lot of devices that need to be connected to my network and need some of them to be monitored appropriately. This product help me get the coverage and quality of service I needed for all of my devices and the setup only took half an hour!!

I can not be more happy with this product!!! Easy to install and significantly improved the wireless coverage and speed at my house!! We watch three different programs at the same time. If you are cutting the cord and going to 100% streaming you won't be disappointed.

Set this up as a nice upgrade over my older Netgear router, along with a Netgear cable modem upgrade. Seeing very impressive speeds in testing with my comcast connection. Lights and instructions made set up easy. Still debugging a few things like wireless printer connections ...

I've purchased two sets of these: One for our place and one for my parents. After trying them out at home, I recommended them for my parents as they were getting poor wi-fi coverage in parts of their house and are streaming more content. I am really impressed with the performance. Using a laptop, I was able to hit ~430mbps transferring data from my file server, that's a very good result for wireless (with GigE, my server can easily hit 1000mbps, so the server is not the bottleneck). My only complaint is there there are not more diagnostics to debug connectivity issues when setting up the satellite: There's just an LED that changes colors, which is pretty useless at times. The Orbi app I downloaded for my iPad is also a little glitchy: When I first set up our Orbi, it kept saying there was no satellite found, even though the satellite's light indicated it was connected! When I went back to the main menu, then the Orbi app said 1 satellite was found... weird!

This provides a review of my purchases for a “Ring” system: Orbi AC3000 routers (3 units), Ring Doorbell 2, Chime Pro, 2 Floodlight Cams, doorbell install, and home Wi-Fi setup. I will review the individual components which were mostly quite good. However, their merits were masked by systemic weaknesses in the Best Buy system for communications and project management: Communications: I didn’t know the Wi-Fi consultant was scheduled until he called to confirm his appointment the next day. No one from Best Buy ever told me about the schedule for the doorbell install consultant’s schedule so I did the work myself. Project Management: You sold pieces that were supposed to become an integrated system but there was no integration planned for or provided. You don’t have an electrical contractor on staff so the Wi-Fi was installed before the floodlight cams could be tested. This proved to be a small problem, presumably because of the masonry construction of my house.

I bought this because of 2 things. My Net gear WiFi was 4 years old and my nest camera on opposite side of house would drop WiFi signal. Mission successful !!!!! Camera hasn’t missed a shot. iPad works faster outside on Deck. Setup worked 1 st time.

This is the best router I've every owned! I have WiFi throughout my entire house and all even at my work shed that's 50' behind my house! I have had no issues with this and the setup was easy!

Easy system to set up. We started with a cheaper system and didn't notice any difference with it. Since we installed the Orbi it's been much better to game and browse with multiple devices. Happy with our purchase. It even reaches out to our pasture to link with our solar system.

I was skeptical at first, so I thought the google Mesh system 2nd gen. After using it for a couple days and found speed to not be up to par. I returned for the Orbi, and I can say it is much faster and has more range then the google mesh. You will not be disappointed with the Orbi.

Great performance for the price. WiFi 6 is not included, but I don't have any WiFi 6 devices yet, so not a big deal. Speeds are much better with fewer dead zones than I had with a single router.
