Great WiFi coverage all throughout house. There may be cheaper mesh systems out there, but none better. I pay for 75mbps and get 85-90 anywhere in my home, plus outside away from house near spa & pool. Definite Buy.

Have had to reset it once in first three weeks, but when it’s on and working it blazes. Would definitely recommend. Setup is quite simple and quick. Got it for $279.99, so worth it for sure. Go for it!

This WiFi System Is Life Changing

We live in a 3,000 sq/ft two-story house and for years would constantly have terrible WiFi coverage in certain areas of the house. We have Nest Outdoor Cams in both the front and back (driveway) and before Orbi the cameras would lose connection at least once or twice a day. We also have 3 4K Smart TVs connected to our WiFi and before Orbi only one TV could stream 4K content at a time. Now that we're using Netgear's Orbi WiFi System you can practically get full bars (on WiFi) outside the perimeter of our home. Our WiFi connection use to drop multiple time a day however now that we have the Orbi System up and running no device has lost signal since setup (about a week so far.) Can't express how amazing this product is. Well worth every penny.

Eliminated my Wifi dead spots

I purchased the Orbi Router/Satellite combo package because I wanted as much Wifi power as possible. Since the Satellite unit also has Ethernet ports it also allowed me to get Internet capability to some devices that didn't have Wifi as an option. The system was easy to set up and customize to my needs. The Orbi AC3000 is as fast as advertised and the Satellite has extended my Wifi to the farthest end of the second floor which was a problem with the old router. If you buy this product do a manual firmware upgrade as soon as you are connected to the Internet, mine was way behind the current version and the current firmware fixed several issues. I would have given this system a 4 1/2 it was an option. My only complaint would be that I would have like to have seen more manual settings options. I would definitely recommend this product.

The Orbi system took care of a dead zone we had in the house. We had a lot of different WiFi nexworks so cope with the large amount of WiFi devices we have in our house. I installed it for my parents, which helped them connect to one WiFi network instead of 3 or so designated networks. Log in to one and your good all though the whole home with no dead zones!
Viewing what’s connected at home was helpful. I was able to tell that a few devices were not connect to the WiFi when they should be, found that the curcit breaker was blown on those outlets and went to the box to reset them, if I didn’t have that information i would have found out till I needed to use what ever it was.

We added this to our FIOS network as an upgrade for the Verizon Quantum router. The coverage is much better and the speeds are much higher, even outside on the patio where streaming video is no problem. Also, the connections to some devices on the network that were formerly clunky are no longer so. The setup was relatively easy using the Netgear Orbi app and the satellite unit connected without any issue. Once you are set up, the web-based interface is easier to use that the app. We now have reliable whole house coverage. This is well-worth the price. Make sure to check for a price match before purchasing.

So I originally had an Apple AirPort Extreme as well as an Airport Epress as an extender, that worked great, but last year we started having issues with it, then last month, it began dropping the wi-fi constantly, to the point we had to turn it off.
I then purchased this Orbi kit, this thing works great! Hasn’t dropped the wi-fi not once, the speed is at a constant down of 117 mb/s with an up of 12 mb/s. The setup took about 5 minutes plus there were several updates that needed to be done afterwards, however it has worked like a charm and it’s fast. I only wish I had picked it up sooner. Historically I’ve had issues with Netgear, but I did my homework and decided to go with this. Glad I did.

Great wifi range extender

These wi-fi systems can be used in several ways, and we use ours as a range extender because we've installed security cameras in remote parts of the property, and a single wireless router in the house doesn't reach. This Netgear system does the job beautifully. The wifi signal is strong at the farthest reaches of the camera system, the cameras never drop the signal, which would happen sometimes before we installed this system, and having a strong wi-fi signal throughout the house and adjacent property just makes using our home wi-fi in general better. I would easily recommend this product for anyone looking to have a strong wi-fi network signal throughout their property.

The Orbi will make sure you don’t have any dead zones with your in home WiFi connection. But for me personally I was annoyed to find out that it doesn’t offer the option to force 5Ghz WiFi signal only. Instead Orbi chooses what it thinks it best. Example, at times I’d check my connection and although the network name remains the same the frequency would be 2.4Ghz instead of 5Ghz. After some testing and searching for online help I decided to return it. The system does work as stated and is super fast! (internet speed will vary based on your service provider and plan. I may even come back to the Orbi if and when the option to force it to work on 5Ghz is made available.

I have a 2 story house and this has full coverage connected to my Arris Modem. Since my plan is 400 Mbps because I have 12 devices connected to it, it never disconnect! Good product though.

Fast speed in entire home

My WiFi gets slower with each room I am in throughout my single story home. My modem and router are located in my office and I get 200mbps on my desktop with Xfinity. In the living room (which is next to my office) I noticed my speed was around 50mbps and in my bedroom around 30mbps. It got to the point where I used my iPhone without the WiFi and I use around 8GB per month on average.
Since buying this router my WiFi speed around my entire home and outside is 200mbps. I have used just 0.1 GB with less than 20 days remaining in my cell billing cycle. It's great with my LG 65 OLED 4K Smart TV when watching Netflix, Amazon Prime and WWE Network.
I highly recommend buying this router for the speed and less usage on the cell.

My internet connection upgraded recently to 50Mbps and the powerline ethernet from my uverse to the office downstairs wasn't cutting it over 8Mbps. Wifi didn't reach reliably from my wifi router, so i swapped it out for the orbi ac3000. I now have the whole house connected via fast wifi, maxing out my 50Mbps link from anywhere in the house, and a 20ms ping. I no longer need the powerline setup or multiple 5g vs 2.4g ssid networks. Plus I now have a vpn server to use for remote access . Easy to setup for normal users, and advanced options available from an admin page (eg i changed my lan ip/subnet and dhcp pool to avoid another conflict). Very happy with this mesh router.
