My family had been struggling for a while with an older router after moving into 3500 sq ft home (I'd been meaning to replace it but never got around to it until now). Speed tests results in the same room as the router were around 20Mbps. Tests in the furthest corners of the house were around 5Mbps. With the Orbi system, test results are consistently between 60-65 Mbps throughout the ENTIRE house (what I've been paying for all along). With all devices connected (4 smart phones, 3 tablets, 3 smart TVs, 3 laptops a PS4 and multiple connected lights) there is a small drop in speeds, though still impressive. You're definitely getting what you pay for

We recently updated our home WiFi network due to inadequate coverage with old system. Orbi is definitely an improvement. Better speed and range in our multi level home.

Excellent system. Paying for 50mbs Internet speed and get over 50 on download and upload all over house. Works as advertised. Buy it, you won’t regret it.

I had a Netgear product that was problematic because of bad updates. Netgear's solution was to roll back to a previous update. When I heard that the Orbi AC3000 was one of the best Mesh systems out there, I was hesitant because it was also a Netgear product. I've had it for a month now and it is using it's latest update. I've had no trouble. In fact, I have had no drop-outs in a month. I also use VPN to connect to work and there are no issues connecting. After a month, I am pleased with this product and have no concerns.

The Orbi routers are awesome. We have AT&T Gigabit Internet with fiber to the house. With the AT&T router we got 52 mb over Wifi. After hooking up the Orbis, which took less than 5 minutes each; we are seeing 450 mb to 550 mb over Wifi. Speed is never an issue with the Orbi routers. Their data channel is faster than almost any normal home internet connection, so they will never be the bottleneck. I highly recommend this product.

I tried the version that came with a wall satellite and had trouble reaching through the thicker walls in my house. I purchased this, which has another full size unit and it seems to work better. Only downside is that when it is connecting to and from the satellite you may experience a brief lag in the internet.

The set up of the router was very simple. The coverage in our large ranch home is excellent. No deadspots or weak wifi signal throughout our home and within 75 feet outside our home.

Pros: The system expanded wi-fi capabilities in my home so that we get it in all rooms. My old system only worked in the living areas, but now we get it upstairs and in all the back bedrooms as well. Cons: It was very expensive (~$350) and the wi-fi in the living areas where the old router used to give me seamless use doesn't appear to be any better; I sometimes get buffering and stalling now where I didn't before. I had to have my son install it though I don't think it would be difficult for most younger people who are used to such things. I would recommend this if an expanded system was needed for the home and a regular one wouldn't do the trick or if the price drops significantly. Otherwise, it's too expensive.

I watched many videos and looked at many blogs about the Orbi prior to ordering. Many raved about it, others warned of how settings on using behind another router was a nightmare, but I took the chance. The setup was incredibly easy. All I did was plug it in and let it do it's thing. Immediately, I was up and running and back to work. I would say that I am not excited about the speed I get through the Orbi vs. what my provider sells me. When I plug in directly, I get what is advertised, but over wifi it drops considerably. Maybe I need to mess with those settings after all? But overall, I am pleased. No drops in wifi, consistent service, easy set up. I am sold.

This was super easy to setup for a two station system. I love it ability to cover a wider space hat is dependent on your placement rather than just a radius from a single location.

There always seems to be euphoria when router companies tell you how much house area their product covers. This is the RBK50, which is supposed to cover 5000 sq ft. Well, maybe without walls. Luckily, I overbought and live in a much smaller house, so the RBK50 is great, but looking at signal strengths, one more set of walls and I'd be in trouble. Still, it does what I need and covers the whole place with decent strength. The single SSID for both 5GHz and 2.4GHz has caused some trouble with an Epson ET-3600 printer, which can't tolerate 2 radios with the same name. It's now connected by cable to the router. And I can no longer control the 2.4 and 5 radios' on/off with Version 1.12.0.18 of the orbi firmware.

I really would like to give this 5 stars. It works great, and expanded my coverage, in my house. All my ring products and other security cameras greatly improved with this set up. The app is easy to use. The only thing I didn’t like about this was the set up. I could not get it set up with my iPhone at all. I rarely use my computer, but had to hardwire it into the main router, for it to finally get set up. I was told that I shouldn’t of had to do this, so not sure what my problem was. I have since unplugged it from my computer, and have had 0 issues so far.

I purchased the Orbi system after reading many online reviews and the system exceeded my high expectations. The range and speed is consistent throughout my entire house and I wonder how I ever used the internet before the Orbi. It lives up to the hype and I highly recommend.
