Great product - Easy Setup
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My modem is in my basement. Although I had decent WiFi coverage through most of my house, I had no coverage on my deck or out by my pool area where we spend a lot of time in the warmer weather. I installed the Orbi in about 15 minutes. I put the satellite unit on my second floor and immediately got a very strong connection with the base unit in the basement. I now have strong WiFi coverage not only in all areas of my house, but also my entire back yard area. So far, I am very happy with this product.

Look at software update first
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Using the app to set this up was the wrong choice Doing it from a computer first would have saved hours of frustration. The app from our devices just wasn't giving accurate information. Using web site worked perfect. Read instructions about software updates or deal with factory reset and phone calls to get it sorted. After those issues the system has worked exactly as hoped and the units blend into the background so far glad we got them.

Works very once set up
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I wanted to give the router 4.5 stars but its performance brought my score to 5 stars. Setup - I used my iPad Pro to do the initial setup, it walked me through the steps but was unable to connect to the Internet, to frustrate matters, the box only contains a quick start guide. I was able to change the network name and password as well as update the firmware but no Internet connection. I finally gave up and called Netgear, after holding for about 20 minutes a very knowledgeable Netgear person answered. She had me go to my Asus laptop and from there I was able to login to the admin and change a setting to correct the problem. One annoying thing she said is that I could find all the info at www.netgear, which I had to inform her that my Internet was down. Once Setup - The router does all that was promised, I was a little worried reading some of the reviews here but I needed the 3 ethernet ports. The main router is in the basement of a ranch style home and the satellite is on the main floor about 50-55 feet away. I expected a 30-50% drop in speed from the satellite when I started my speed test using both my iPad and laptop. I was caught off guard as there is little or no speed degradation between the main router and satellite. I pay for 400mps from Xfinity and had been using the 6th gen Airport Extreme with an extender to be able to run everything. I was getting between 50 and 100mps. With the Orbi I am getting between 300 and 400mps even from the satellite. Overall - I've only had the router a few days, but we no longer have devices drop off the network and everything has been seamless running our devices, Ring doorbell, and security devices without any blips. It also got rid of the annoying 5gz network and we only have one network once again.

Amazing Product and Better than the AC1800
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Originally had the rbk30 but the satellite is not as strong as this model. I did buy an additional satellite since our house and basement totals around 6000 square feet. Signal is powerful and helps since my whole is smart enabled (lights, switches, door, garage, cameras, speakers, blinds, etc). Our house is finally WiFi ready!

Solid performer but a weird issue with the main po
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I opted for this after my Google Wi-Fi points slowly all failed ,reading that it had a separate wireless backhaul channel. Setup using the app can be a bit clunky. I think it took 2-3 times before it let me fully setup my account in the system and finding the satellite unit. It also doesn't tell you that it's doing firmware updates so things were rebooting a few times and I had no idea why. It's been mostly a solid performer except that I find that anything that's connected to the main base station starts intermittently losing connection and requires a restart once a week. It's crazy because when you look at the app it will say the internet and main station is down (even though the internet is up and the device I'm viewing from is connected to the main station) but the satellite is fine. While the restart is annoying I would still say this is a pretty solid setup because it never completely goes down.

Basic Features Require Paid $ubscription
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Router itself works very well. High speed, decent range, stable. However, many of the features like parental control require an add-on $ubscription. It's ridiculous to buy a high end router and then have to pay for an add-on subscription to get functionality that others include for free.

Great Router System
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall Orbi gives great coverage at strong speeds... There are a few areas that I don't expect the speed to go down, but overall is a great solution.

Perfect large-house solution
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. In a 5000 ft2 house, with the Fios connection coming in at one extreme end, the signal from an older-model Airport dropped off halfway through the house. With one Orbi base and one satellite, the whole house is covered with great signal. Can't wait to add another satellite to extend outdoors this summer. Orbi has had no issues dropping the connection -- note, with Fios, you need to put Orbi in "access point" mode or you will have issues accessing Fios tv and other features.

Love the Orbi!!
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Orbi AC3000 is the first Orbi system that I had bought. It was for a house that we rented and only needed the router and one extender. I like it so much that when we built our home I instead of running a bunch of cat6e cables through out the house I purchased a larger updated Orbi system. The kids game while connected to it and get speeds almost the same as my wired computer.

Great overall mesh WiFi
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Orby has tested to work well over the past 30 days. For the money it definitely works well and provides seamless integration between the units without dropping. We have experienced some speed issues and drops in speed but nothing much more than we were used to with the standard Wi-Fi router. Excellent and easy set up via the mobile app. We have two Orbi covering 4600 ft.² and seem to have full signal and speed in just about every square foot of that space. Overall good system.

Extremely fast Internet speed via Wi-Fi
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Extremely fast Internet speed via Wi-Fi, However there are instances where this is not working I deal for those products don’t work well with mesh. Sometimes these products can’t decide which is my three (yes I bought a third one after this purchase) Orbi’s to connect to. I’m having a little trouble with my Ring products. It works extremely well with my Apple iPad pri’s and phone 10 XS. I have 500 Mb down WOW internet service And my Apple products are approaching 500 Mb via Wi-Fi. This is exactly what I wanted.
