Orbi was easy to setup and works great throughout the extended area.

I have always been a Netgear person...and for the longest was using a N Gigbit router...When I upgraded my internet to use fiber, I wasn't ready to update my router since my current is still functional. But now with the Orbi, I am getting my money's worth pushing the full speed of what my fiber 1G up and down.

Easy to setup and by far the fastest router I have ever owned. Highly recommend it!

Purchased one when first released. Setup was very easy and throughput very good for a mesh system. Settings don't allow different SSIDs for the two frequencies (2.4 and 5 GHz). Purchased another a few months later (the unit for this review) and satellite stopped connecting to the base in <30 days after setup and could not be reset. I have many other Netgear products that run flawlessly so this is likely a fluke. Returned this and will try again.

Bought this to boost the speed/range around the 3000sqft house, works great.

Best WiFi router I’ve owned so far. Easy to use and fast

Easy set up, great range, supports 3 teen gamers and two Disney YouTube obsessed adults! Purchased to upgrade when local cable lines were upgraded after Hurricane Delta. I wish I would have waited for the modem/router combo, but these work great and I like that I can expand when I am ready.

The Netgear - Orbi Tri-band Wi-fi System is the best router on the market. I had purchased wireless security cameras for outside of my home and could not get a strong enough signal to reach them until I purchased this system. It seemed a little expensive at first, but it is worth the money. It also greatly improved the wifi signal to my tv's and computers all around my home. Highly recommended.

Easy setup, great range, fast internet! This is how wi-fi in the home should be.

We needed to upgrade our wifi for working from home. Geek Squad helped put together the mesh network, shipped us the pieces, and helped install the system via phone conference. It's all working just as hoped. Once again, Geek Squad and Best Buy reinforce why they are my go-to electronics -- gear and support.

This system gives me 5 bars all over the house and outside as well. The only problems are you can't manually determine which frequency to use (2.4 vs. 5). Also, if you sync something to the router first and then move it to the satellite area - it won't switch to the satellite - it'll stay synced to the route - farther away and I run into some issues with speed. To me those should be easy fixes - just hoping for an update.

Can't go wrong and it is the core of our home network system. There is the next version up, version 6 which has far better performance, but the AC3000 Tri-Band was purchased at a great price. The house size was relatively small, so this works. Many WiFi issues disappeared once this kit was installed.

It was not quite plug and play but after about an hour I was up and running. I bought this to have wi-fi in a remote bldg. main unit in the house. The second unit I put in another bldg about 50’ away. This gave me the reach to have wi-fi in my workshop which is another 150’ away. Seems to have plenty of power to run all my TV options.

Have tried many different WiFi systems over the years, but this one is the best by far. No more switching connections as we move through the house. The 2 unit Orbi is reachable in our house, out to the barn, and majority of the yard, all without having to reconnect. Setup was super easy also.

I have a 4000ish sq. ft. home (ranch) and having one set up on the main floor and one in the basement has given me great speeds throughout t he house as well as outside! I have particularly thick walls and some sides are thick cement and this guy still manages to push through with great signal strength and speeds. Definitely recommended and I have no regrets!

Had issue with setting up router. I have Rise Broadband that does not use a modem. After 4 hours on the phone with Netgear and Rise. Do not set the MAC address to what’s on the bottom of the router, have it set what your Orbi is defaulting to in the browser settings. And try not to set up the Orbi from the app. Once everything was set up on both ends, it runs great.

This has been on of my better purchases over the last few years. The 2 pack Orbi give me exceptional coverage over my entire property, as well as on my neighbors property too, which works well because we have family next door and I can stay on my network. Easy setup and have not had any issues over the last 8 months of owning this. Highly recommended!!!

I have looked at a couple of mesh WiFi systems before choosing the Netgear Orbi. Here are my decision criteria: good brandname, dedicated channel between base station and satellite, 3 Ethernet ports on each base station and satellite. Installation was simple, the app works fine on iOS, and the data throughput is stable high. Couple of weeks in I had not had a single dropout.

I believe the Netgear Orbi AC 3000 is an excellent product. Although I have not owned it for long, I fully expect it will fully bring me satisfaction.

Speeds are excellent no interruptions and I have 16 devices through out the house
