Owning an older house came with the problem of no ethernet wiring to run multiple computers. Now I just plug this into an outlet and I can use a computer anywhere. Literally no drop off, my kids use it on their Xbox and gaming computer.

I started working from home and decided to use the spare bedroom as my office. ISP won’t be able to install 2 jacks without adding new line. This is an easy fix for that problem! Surprised it actually works!

Forgot to have data cables installed in your home or office? This is the ticket for you! Plug one in any wall socket and the other in another and VIOLA, 1 Gigabit network connection! Add other units to create a 1 gigabit network using your house power lines. !

I just plugged these in, connecting my livingroom to my office and have had no problems whatsoever. I highly recomend this unless you want to string the cable and drill a couple of holes in your wall!

I bought this network extender in order to stream Netflix and Hulu at a better speed. If your wireless connection is mediocre like mine, this will significantly improve the HD picture you intended to have.

Needed to connect a Camera DVR to the network which needed a hardwired connection. Hooked the Network extender up and instantly had a connection. Also wired it to a small switch and actually have the DVR and a printer running through the Network extender.

Using this on a network that gets a consistent 450/25 over Wi-Fi. Connection is extremely stable and ping times are great, but was expecting better connection speeds. Speeds over the powerline are 135/25, which is a little disappointing as the advertised max speed was 1000 Mbps, but I am using it in an older house. Connection is rock solid though, and it feels much faster than the speeds listed through a test. Overall it's been better for my gaming desktop than an unstable wireless stick.

Really did what I needed it to do which was have a connection in multiple places without having to have a bunch of wiring going everywhere. It was totally worth the money. And I’ve recommended it to multiple people.

I had my doubts, but when I plugged it in to the upstairs desk top WOW did it ever improve.... no more issues with the slow network... There should be no reason why it will not work for you also.

This is the second set of Netgear Powerline network Extender I have purchased. The first set works great, and the second set made it very convenient to use our computers on the first floor and also in the basement. I found that by trying different wall outlets I was able to get an excellent signal as long as I plugged it directly in to the outlet without any power strip. i was actually able to use an extension cord on one and still got an excellent signal. This concept is so much easier than running hard wire all over the place. Highly Recommend!

I had a Netgear Universal Adapter that I had problems with the entire time I had it. It would never hold the connection to my smart tv. Bought this at the suggestion of the BB salesperson..and it works like magic. NO problems with connection now! Thanks !!!

Purchased for Zoom/etc Interviews due to low wifi signal. It didn't appear to boost speed as expected. I'm technical, would run speed tests with and without using this, didn't see expected results. But still could be better than nothing depending on what speeds you're currently at. Easy enough installation. But make sure your laptop has a ethernet input, many new laptops do not. May need to get adapter (like myself).

This device is perfect for hardwiring your TV versus utilizing WiFi. My TV is too far from my internet hub and standard WiFi extenders just didn’t provide enough speed. This device doubled my download !!
