This device saved us during the pandemic. We had two heavy internet users in the house, and this solved all of our speed issues in their distant rooms. The two cons are that setup can be tricky, and when we added a 3rd Powerline it didn't work nearly as well as the first two.

The Netgear Powerline has been working very well with no drop off in connection and with a high level data transfer rate for our system. It took about 15 minutes to set up and connect the devices. Running now without issue for about 4 weeks for a home office.

I was concerned because I just bought a new pc and didn’t want to use the wireless card in it and my router was across my house. I have my setup on the complete opposite side of the house and the connection is fantastic. Downlod Speeds are a little less than if you were to be connected directly to the router, but upload speeds are the same

I didn't have high hopes, but this actually works as advertised and quite well. My modem was all the way in the back of the apt and I used this to carry the signal up front to my wireless router.

First off, I've owned the previous model, the PLP1200, for over 3 years, and they've performed superbly, at the full rated speed without issue! Wanting to extend my network, I purchased a pair of PLP2000's. Easy enough to install and implement, but ... they performed at less than half the rated throughput of their predecessor. I spent 3 to 4 hours today attempting to tweak the throughput to no avail (I'd like to point out that I am a "computer networking professional" with a degree and over 40 years in the industry - so I ran thru all the appropriate tests). Needless-to-say, I am returning these, and will be purchasing the tried-and-true PLP1200.

My mesh network was a little weak in my garage workshop running totally on WI-FI. Plugged these into electrical outlets, the routers into the devices and network speed in the garage went from 10mb to over 70mb. Eliminated the need for another mesh router.

It's important to make sure your house is wired in a way that these can be effective; in my old home, they worked wonderfully but after I moved, I had trouble with them. Still a very good product when functioning correctly.

This was a quick and easy solution to my problem. The PS4 is located on the opposite side of our home and on a different floor so wireless reception was poor and frustrating. This was a fast, easy way to get better bandwidth to the PS4 without rewiring the entire house.

I’m trying this in our 6 month old townhouse on a 1 gig Uverse connection. It was easy to setup but the maximum download speed I have been able to to achieve is 157 mb/s. My laptop sitting right next to the desktop gets around 500mb/s. If you really need this , save your money and don’t buy this too if the line version. Go for the low end and accept that you will never get great speed but something that should be easy to setup. I will be returning it and getting a wireless usb.

It finally ended up working and still works well, however the range is not as good as stated, however that could be interference from something. It was a pain to set up, when it really should have been quick and painless

Helped me set up a second router on a different floor that's working better than a wifi extender ever would. I had a similar product in an old apartment that helped me get wired ethernet on my video game systems instead of dealing with wifi lag or running a massive cord from the (inconveniently located) main router.
