My 17-year-old son set this product up in his bedroom on the floor above our router and in less than 15 mins his Internet connection had improved.

I used this in place of a Wifi to ethernet adapter and it instantly connected and worked.

Had an older version without the plug outlet. Very easy to install. Like to keep with the same brands and NetGear has been good for me.

It works and was simple to set up. Biggest plus is a very stable connection for my work computer. Biggest con is it can only capture about 13% of my total internet speed. Im testing a mesh network setup against this. So far the mesh has produced faster connection speeds. Upload is worse on the mesh vs the powerline though.

Easy set up out the box, best way to add devices in other areas of your home.

Everything works great. This is a good option if you don't want to run cabling in the house.

NETGEAR Powerline 2000 is an excellent product to extend the internet network to far corners of the home using the power line. Very simple setup.

Dependable internet without losing signal. Has been working great for an extender, no issues.

Have a larger home, and internet speeds are quicker and more reliable with this plugged into streaming device.

Currently have owned for a few months & it currently only transfer 30-45 MBPS to my Apple TV that is wired in on a room further down the hall (25 Feet). Wifi is 30 mbps or less so wired connection is the most reliable way to go for HD streaming. Current spectrum wired to router speed is 400 mbps.

Works like a charm. Solved a big problem for us. WiFi kept dropping, this is effectively hard wiring. Everything has been solid since this installation.

My old powerline network device failed after two years. I bought this as a replacement. Transfer speeds are twice as fast as old one. I typically see 7.5 mpbs transfer rates. Drops somewhat when two computers are using the this device through a switch but still adequate. I use the one device to supply two computers and two printers and one roku. Wish that the size of the plug in didn't block the second receptacle of the wall outlet.
