Don’t know why people are having problems. Our house was built in 2005. your not going to get better internet than what you pay for it doesn’t boast that. It boast reception in your house.

It will make your router drop connection from time to time. But it will fix a slow wifi connection.

Works great. Does exactly what I needed it to. Ethernet on the other side of house.

No setup needed. just plug in and use. My son's xbox was getting very weak wifi signal and download speeds were dial up speeds. bought this and now he is getting the full bandwidth of our ISP. he is very happy.

I bought this with the intention of getting my computer hardwired. We have gigabit internet speed. Our wifi was giving us 600+ mbps so I figure buying this product would give me even better speed since it would be hardwired. With all the correction configuration and having an IT friend look over it this product was giving me a max download speed of 66mbps and 80mbps upload. I would not recommend buying this product.

Thought this Netgear Powerline 2000 device would allow me to place a better than WiFi internet signal to the furtherest point of my townhouse, but in reality the available speed is greatly over-estimated. In reality, my WiFi was already 40x faster than this device. Total waste of money unless you have zero WiFi signal, then you might be about to achieve 30Mbps through your powerline.

My modem has to be in my living room of my new apartment and I could not run ethernet through the entire place, nor would I since I dont own it, and this has been a lifesaver for my PC gaming and streaming.

Love this----has worked well in our small house to game in the upstairs gameroom despite the hookup being downstairs. Our PC and PS4 are streaming without lag!

I purchased these to replace two older Linksys versions. It plugged right up and worked right away. I really appreciate the power outlet.

Had not network drops in my house. Got these puppies and it is like being plugged into the router first hand. The outlet helps with this taking up so much space!

Great alternative if you don’t have preinstalled Ethernet ports in your home. Just need to make sure it’s on the correct grid portion of your electric box.

Did not work as expected, it was not what i needed.

Bought these to improve Internet connection where wifi coverage was slow. The ads claim they provide fast connections. This is not true. They were very easy to connect, but speed tests showed them being WAY below my router speeds, even in rooms far from the router. I connected one unit to the router less than 2 feet from the router and a second unit about 20 feet away, on the same electrical circuit. All lights green, but speed extremely low. I checked the Netgear website and many people have exactly the same issue and no response from Netgear. I'm going to return them to Best Buy. I have other Netgear products and they work very well, but not this one. It would be great to hear from their support department, but it's probably not going to happen.

Works great. Good way to add extra hardwire connections. Can be difficult to add more when needed.

Works amazing. So much better now that the furthest room in the house is able to connect properly to the internet. Great product. Would highly recommend.

Wow! This really works. We have a deadZone where my son wants his xbox. Talked to our WiFi carrier and Best Buy tech and they both recommended this. No more lag time while playing xbox.

This was a life saver! I didn’t want to call my internet company out to put an Ethernet port upstairs, this was referred to me and it works great!

Must have for anyone needing a powerline adapter for their mining rig. Only wish it did not take up both sockets
