Great Product
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm lucky and the room that I needed this for is a patio that was built into a room. The outlet I used for both are connected together. This is what I believe let me achieve 400 mb download speed. I got close to 200, with other outlets. My advice is try different outlets and scenarios before you return if you have slow speeds.

Awesome product
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Wife works from home and needed a hard line connection. We added one to our router and the other in her office and it had been great! Have not had any dropped connection or issues. Have been using for over 5 months no issue. Told my dad about it he bought one and loves it. Power lines kind of fly under the radar for alternative ways to get Ethernet connections but they are awesome. Would give 10 stars if I could. Great product!

This fixed my internet issues, completely.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.temporarily with my parents and while they have gigabit, the house does not allow for a strong signal to travel. wanted to buy a mesh system, but was vetoed. this is the perfect solution. i have my xbox one and smart tv hooked to wired ethernet via the electricity in my parents home. highest speed i’ve seen is circa 450mbps, with a steady stream of 200+mbps consistently. highly recommend.

Improves internet speed dwld/upld!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My office is right behind the kitchen and due the many IoT items I have (fridge, display, etc) and other items that creates WIFI interference, I used to get only about 15-20 MB when my router puts out about 850-900 MB, this item now provides me about 85-100 MB which is very good or my work and gaming.

NetGear Powerline 2000 Highly recommend
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It works great! The house was running on wifi. Now with the powerline adaptors we were able to utilize the full speed available from our provider, without wiring the whole house. The extra outlet is definitely a bonus as well.

Much better range
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Much better than the ones that you can get for "cheap" on amazon. I was able to get much better speeds over the same distance with the netgear ones than the cheaper ones on amazon.

works as advertised.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. No problems with this item. Easy to install since it uses an electric circuit to conduct the ISP's stream. Allowed us to have our modem upstairs where we spend most of our day, and conducts the stream through a similar plug downstairs. For some reason no one at the ISP ever suggested this as a solution until we were lucky enough to get a smart technician. Online problemsoving has never been as useful in solving a problem like this.

Exactly what I needed
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had no way to connect to the internet because my office is too far away from my modem. After consulting with a Best Buy rep, he advised me on exactly what I needed. With the provided Ethernet cables I was able to get my work computer connected the internet and have not had any issues since I bought it. A bit pricey but def worth every penny.

Finally, a usable powerline adapter.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After years of trying various brands and models of power line ethernet adapters, it looks like NetGear has finally come up with one that gives more than 85Mb/s :D One note: The power saving option should be turned off or they may become inaccessible. Had to use Zyxel's powerline utility to do so.

Best Performance in Powerline adapters
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This product works as advertised and is the fastest I’ve tested. The problem I have is the configuration tool is only for Window OS. Netgear needs to get it together and at least support MacOS for configuration. Without this you will be unable to disable power saving mode and settings like that.

No Brainer
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We're in a home we bought a year ago that was built in 2004. It has no designed-in networking at all. I needed wired ethernet for my servers where wireless was just not as performant. This little unit was a snap to install and gives me high performance. I has been perfectly reliable and 'transparent'. I'm quite pleased with the animal.

Does Exactly What It Says
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. One room in my house needed a wired connection so I decided to give this a try. It fired right up and gives a solid 30MB connection. The two outlets are NOT on the same electrical circuit breaker. So I knew up front that it would take a hit, but still very satisfied. One of these days I'll move it to a new outlet so they are on the same circuit to see what happens.

Easy to set up and use
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was able to extend my internet in the other side of the house with this and only took less than 30minutes to set up. Speed degredation is present, but at least I have internet access. Using this on 1gb service and this in conjunction with an access point delivers 190-250mpbs over wifi.

Exactly what I needed to fix wi-fi coverage
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought these to run a fast connection upstairs. Our cable modem wi-fi is at the extreme opposite end of the house. Working great. It's supporting my upstairs Netgear access point, and a helium hotspot connected straight through. They're almost stupidly easy to use. Just plug them in and attach cables.

Does a very good job
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My average speed was about 15 mbps on my desktop (wireless), with the adapter in jump to 88 mbps. With my xbox, wireless was about 109 mbps (different location), with the adapter about 230 mbps. Note: my desktop is a different location, my xbox is within the same room where I have the router.
