Great product, no POE!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was having a slower wifi connection for my Twitch stream and my wife didn’t want me running an Ethernet cable across our front room to where my desk is, so I picked this up and it has been working great! Much better constant bitrate and speeds along with connection are much more stable. My only complaint is that the specs clearly list that this has 2 POE ports on the unit but they are definitely not POE. Big bummer when I was attempting to work from home in a pinch thinking that I had all the things I needed and my phone wouldn’t turn on! Other than that, this is a lifesaver.

Good product but hard to problem solve.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Works most of the time but not sure if it has to do with my house or the system. No real good way to check. Also i still have some problems with gaming even with higher speeds making me wonder about if my packets are sending at the shown speed.

Pleased with my Powerline 2000 purchase
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been using the original version of these for many years and wanted an upgrade and more speed. I am extremely pleased at the ease with which these immediately connected and the speed of the signal. They are expensive but definitely worth it. I am extremely pleased with this product.

Perfect for telecommuniting
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you need a hard wired port to work off of your modem/router but do not wish to run cables through your house this is an easy solution. It took a few tries to get it to work but has been flawless now for 1.5 months. I use it to hardwire my work computer and phone for a VPN network. Works as good as plugging into my router directly.

Great solution vs just WiFi
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Personally, I don't trust an all WiFi setup, especially working from home and hard wires are actually required for the work computers for my wife and I. The AT&T router access point is so stupidly placed that running wires directly from the router itself is an impossibility. That's where powerline adapters come in. The Ethernet connection is much more consistent than WiFi signals and don't suffer signal loss/dropoffs like WiFi is known to do from time to time. The only issue I have with this set is that I bought two of these pairs. For some reason, I cannot get the fourth one to even function regardless of which unit I try; only three total work. I cannot find any solution online for this issue.

Excellent
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this thing. It’s allowed me to put hardwired internet in my office far from my modem. The speed is always consistent and for this price, we’ll worth it instead of drilling or stapling a cable all throughout my house to get to my office.

Magic Box
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Absolutely amazing! Comes with everything you need and very simple to install. Not sure which kind of witchcraft Netgear used but it was the right kind. My son uses it for online gaming for his PC and hasn’t complained yet, he’s 13 btw. Well worth the money.

Convenient to install & remove cords.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Haven't actually installed or removed cords, however, this product is designed to make it easy to do just like a landline phone, so I like it. Although this product is behind the things plugged into it and therefore is not seen, I'm surprised it is white instead of black.

Netgear 2000
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Works perfectly and is plug and play, literally. Plug it in near your router so you can run a cat cable to it and then plug the 2nd one in the room you want internet. Speed test shows 200 up/down on a 500/500 direct connection set up. plenty fast to run everything.

Works Well - 2nd ethernet port is great
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This works as advertised. Simple connecting and getting to work. Down side is they are large. The outlet above this is almost completely unusable. They include the plug through which makes up for it. I have used these types of devices for hard to reach network locations. Definitely more reliable than wireless.

Works as expected should be recommended more
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Wireless is great and i understand the need to promote newer routers but sometimes you just need to hard wire 1 thing. This works perfectly and doesn't need additional passwords and getting into range. 10/10

easy set-up
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This product works well and was very simple to set-up. Basically plug and play..! Works like a charm, took an out of my router, to the first device, and connected second device in my basement. Took that second device to a switch and all works well..!!!

Very good. Loses star for small design oversight.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this to replace an older unit {by another mfr.) that was failing. Decent feature set at a good price. I like that it has the pass through power outlet. My only complaint is that it's so tall, it blocks the outlet above it so even with the pass through outlet, you're still down an outlet. Overall it performs well and is able to handle our current 100Mbps service with little / no drop in speed.

Surprisingly simple installation - works well
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This was as close to a plug-and-play product as I have seen in a long time. I wanted to see if I could simply plug this in and see if it worked - and it did. All I did was plug one end at my son's AT&T internet connection and connect it to one of the available Ethernet ports. I plugged the other end at his desk and connected his 2 laptops via the Ethernet ports. Having 2 open Ethernet ports on this device was a huge part of my decision to go this way. Both connected right away. I did no other configuration. Plug and play. I will say that the speed was considerably less than the 1 Gig internet they are getting from their new AT&T 1000 Gigabit internet service. My speed test runs showed around 90 to 110 mbps, so about 1/10 of the speed at the AT&T router. I attribute this to the wiring of my son's apartment building. I was expecting to see some fraction of the available service, but was hoping for higher. But this should still serve him well. I am not faulting the product for this as the wiring is not in Netgear's control.

Love this product!
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Got this for my fiancé because he was getting poor WiFi signal to his PS4 in the back room. This was so easy to install and give him the internet speeds he needed to game online. He has not had any lag since using this product and that’s with other TVs and devices being connected to the WiFi.

Good most of the time
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Works- bought to replace poor WiFi coverage in spotty areas. Reason for 4 not 5 stars: We get a fair amount of time that it lags and we’ll get an amber or red light re: the connection. Changing the outlet location sometimes helps, but not always.

Netgear is a Quality Brand
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Power line is an excellent technology allowing internet to be put on an electrical line. These Netgear power line adapters are quality and offers a stable connection. I have no speed lose through these adapters and they establish an encrypted connection. Great product that I would recommend to anyone!
