Was Not Helpful at All.
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This device proved completely ineffective, and I ultimately returned it. Instead of improving my connection, it significantly degraded the signal. Most homes are wired in parallel, which can cause communication issues when data has to cross from one side of the electrical panel to the other. Initially, the unit didn’t function at all. I was only able to get it working by using a separate bridging device that plugs into the dryer outlet—yet even then, the performance was closer to dial‑up than modern broadband. Needless to say, it went straight back to the store.

Very Great Product
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Admittedly, I was reluctant to buy and use these but I had many years in computers and networks and have built many. Honestly, I just didn't feel like I would get sufficient throughout on the bandwidth for streaming video but fortunately the technology has progressed to the point that high bandwidth digital signals are achievable through regular house wiring even with A/C current on the same wires. We now are able to stream TV as well as a dedicated CAT5 or CAT6 ethernet drop and there's no crawling through attics and messing up finished drywall. I highly recommend these for homeowners and professionals alike. Great product! Vern

Excellent way to add reliable ethernet
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a reliable way to add Ethernet to any room in my home. You must be plugged directly into wall and not on a extension cord or multi plug connector.

Works well over inside wiring.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Seems to transmit without speed or data loss. I used it from the broadband modem to the room farthest away and had no problem in setup or usage. The indicator lights are a great tool to monitor your connection.

Internet booster for wireless and wired
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I switched from broadband to DSL and of course the put the modem near the only phone jack in the house which was in the living room. My Gamer son has a desktop in his room that of course has to be hard wired. I googled and watched a YouTube video https://youtu.be/qDt77CBoZxY and jayz showed me how to using a T link power adapter. I read some reviews and opted Netgear’s version and it worked like a charm. It uses the electrical wiring in my apartment which happened to be built 3 years ago. If you have an older house, this may not be the best option as it is only as good as your electrical wiring. My son didn’t believe it would work and when it did he was utterly amazed and asked me how did I know about using a power adapter. I of course credited my intellectual ability and told him I’m all-knowing, lol.

Great for Mesh WIFI Ethernet Backhaul
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was skeptical of these since my 200 MB rated ones could only get 30 MB download speed on my 266 MB service. These routinely pull 150-200 MB on speed tests, and my VOIP and VChat quality is excellent now.

Easy plug and play
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Powerline 2000 + is really just plug and play. Less that 5 minutes to install and get on-line. Added a computer to my detached shop/garage. Great connection. The extra outlet works without causing any interference.

Better than expected
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.honestly was skeptical of these, but needed a solution without fishing wires through the house. Pleasantly surprised at how well they work. I've recommended them to a few people and will continue to do so.

These work but got better speed from older units
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. While this did accomplish a link, it's BIG so blocked other outlets (gives one pass thru but blocked three others on 4 outlet receptacle) and speed was not impressive. I may have electrical noise on the line that affected this but got better speed with older Powerline 1000 units.

works great
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had an old Av receiver with internet capability. Did not want to run cables all over the place to get internet service. Geek squad showed me that this device would do the job. Easy to set up and no wires running all over the place

So far so good
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Not getting landline speed but I’m getting good enough for how far it is away. The landline I get 150+ but with this I’m getting 50s which is very acceptable in my opinion better then routing a wire threw the whole house

It Works
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Had and issue with trying to run Ethernet cable, so a friend of mine recommended this product. Both him and I have found this works very well, may not be top notch speed but it runs my Smart Tv with no lag.

Best PowerLine Adapter I've used
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Did exactly as I needed. Have my cameras hooked up in weird places in the attic. Running cat5 into the basement was my final hurdle and I avoided the need with this device.

Good alternative to wireless
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been impressed on how reliable this product has been to the closest thing to a wired connection. It scales very well for many home layouts that are not practical to run direct Ethernet cabling.

dont love it, dont hate it.
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.huge. it covers the top outlet as well. i had to buy a 6 inch extension cable for both ends to use without blocking both outlets on both ends. i get 400 mbps on my modem and wifi shows forit on my phone. however my computer thats a room or 3 walls away gets 100-200 mbps on wifi but with 15-30ms ping. with this adaptor i get 130-150 mbps with lower ping/latency about 10-15ms. i wish it would use more bandwidth... dont love it, dont hate it.

Powerline works well
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The powerline seems to be working better than the old Cat5 cabling I had strung out all over the place. I did luck out that the outlets I'm using are on the same side of the electric panel.

Great Product
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Our house was not wired with Ethernet cables and I could not get a wifi signal (I purchased a much needed upgraded router and tried a top of the line extender without any luck) into our garage for a sprinkler control panel. I finally came across reviews for these powerline adapters and figured I would try them out. I plugged the adapter into our power outlet next to the router and plugged the other one on the other side of the house. I pay for 100 mb and average about 98.3 to 98.5 next to the router. Testing the powerline adapter I get around 97 to 97.3 from it. Since the speed was so good, I put the adapter in a bedroom next to our garage and turned my old router into an AP and now have 70% signal strength in the garage and backyard. Great product for the price, as I saved $60 over the "high end" extender
