Does what it's asked

One thing to be aware of is that if your signal has to pass through the breaker box, you will receive lower than expected throughput. This is the issue we run into here. The documentation is up front about it, however, so I went into this purchase with full knowledge. Otherwise the signal was quite stable, which was what we were looking for.

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The latest Verizon FiOS G3100 WiFi 6 router mentions that there is limited compatibility beyond its similarly configured Verizon FiOS E3200 extender and my purchase of the Netgear Powerline 2000 bore that out in that it lost its IP address and internet connectivity after performing spectacularly for almost 30 minutes. The addition of an outlet is of great assistance over previous powerline hardware designs. I would recommend this product if it is proven that there could be long term compatibility with your home internet systems
