We have gigabit internet speed. Our wifi was giving us 600+ mbps so I figure buying this product would give me even better speed since it would be hardwired. With all the correction configuration and having an IT friend look over it this product was giving me a max download speed of 66mbps and 80mbps upload. I would not recommend buying this product.

Althpugh, my connection still dropped so I took it back to Brst Buy and was told that its more effective in newer homes. I ended up returning it and going the old school way by purchasing the cat6 cable to connect via hardwire.
