We had so much trouble with our w-fi network mostly as it pertains to our second floor. Because of multiple obstacles (e.g. ceiling and walls), we had practically no wi-fi. We tried so many different ways to address this including getting wi-if extenders, but nothing worked. Finally, someone recommended this product, and now we have blazing fast internet upstairs. I can’t recommend this highly enough.

I find the Netgear product works as advertised. Plug one in near the router and hook an ethernet cord from the router to the netgear. Plug the other netgear in the room you want and you have ethernet connection in that room! Has worked great. I did find you have to plug directly into the device you want connected. It does not work to connect the second device to a switch first.

This has very good speed when you don't want to run network cable from your modem to a bedroom.

I bought this because we needed to have a hard wired Ethernet connection in the second bedroom for my wife’s workstation since she is working from home full time now. Unfortunately we couldn’t set up the router and modem in the bedroom but this works great for her and she had no issues staying connected to the internet while she works.

This helped provide an Ethernet connection where I had none!

I bought this for my Shield TV and wireless access in my basement. I have google wifi and was getting decent signal, but not reliable and pretty high latency. This device fixed the latency, but the device doesn't delver nearly the bandwidth advertised.

This device proved completely ineffective, and I ultimately returned it. Instead of improving my connection, it significantly degraded the signal. Most homes are wired in parallel, which can cause communication issues when data has to cross from one side of the electrical panel to the other. Initially, the unit didn’t function at all. I was only able to get it working by using a separate bridging device that plugs into the dryer outlet—yet even then, the performance was closer to dial‑up than modern broadband. Needless to say, it went straight back to the store.

Works great - very pleased! We had changed ISP providers and we were no longer able to use Air Play because we couldn’t run an Ethernet cable from the tower to our receiver. These solved the problem!

These are great and give me faster speeds. I highly recommend it.

These these extenders did not work for what I needed. I needed an upgrade of my router modem. Once I did that my reception was fine. But returning them was a breeze.

But it really has been popping up in my apartment and providing itself useful.

Bought this for online gaming in a separate room. Speed and stability were 3X better than using WiFi

This product does what it claims and that says alot.

Works well, only complaint is the latency when gaming, ping spikes up considerably when compared to connecting directly to the router via ethernet.
