Customers consistently note the Powerline 2000 + Extra Outlet for its speed, ease of use, and reliable performance. Many appreciate its ability to resolve connectivity issues and the clear setup process. However, some find the device bulky, potentially blocking other outlets, and a few believe the product is expensive for its capabilities.

Didn’t get anywhere close to advertised speeds.

These power line adapters are very expensive and seem of high quality. I couldn’t get anywhere close to the advertised speeds while hooked up to my gigabit connection. I tried multiple configurations and outlets in my home. The best speeds I could manage were around 250Mbps. The ping wasn’t too bad though. I would recommend these if you have no other options. You would likely be better off with a good wifi extender or just running a long Ethernet cable.

Very simple set up and increases internet performance. Almost takes up the space of two sockets but was able to fit a two prong in other socket. Needed the extra security for counseling profession Zoom meetings.

I was having issues with my WiFi reaching parts of the house...hit and miss reception. My cable service tech mentioned it to me. It definitely fixed my issue! Now going to buy more for other parts of the house.

Mostly good experience. But older wiring in house may not allow it to work at the highest speeds. Worth it though for those that have difficulty w wifi signal.

reliably transferred data on same circuit as advertised. Would not recommend transferring data between two separate main circuit boxes.

I use it to have a low ping when gaming. It does that but it should be noted that the download speed on this is heavily reliant on your circuitry and router

    Disappointing

This system was disappointing. While it may be partially due to the wiring in our home (built in 1997), greatly underperformed the promised speeds. We achieved speeds less than the 40 Mbps that we can achieve with our unsatisfying WiFi in the room of interest. This device claimed speeds up to 2000 Mbps, but came nowhere close. Perhaps it would work better in a different set of sockets, but we have some limitations in that respect.

    Circuit Breaker

Make sure your outlets are in the same circuit breaker. I was trying to run this from inside to outside but my outside outlets are on a sub panel so this doesn't work. I had to. It's the bullet and bury a hard wire.

When I was reading about this product, I thought it unlikely I would get the results that I wanted; however, the concern about having to be on the same circuit seems overblown. I have 3 of them and they all work quite well.

Decent solution to running ethernet. Not as fast as a really good wifi connection, but very stable. Nowhere near 2Gbps of course. Fixed an issue in my house and would recommend.

These are great! They use the wiring in your house to allow you to have LAN connection in other rooms without wiring the house. You do sometimes have to reset if you lose power but it is very easy to do.

I use this in place of getting a wifi card for my pc. It's fantastic because i can plug directly in to my pc with a ethernet cable, without having to be right next to my router. Definitely gets higher speeds than wifi.
