Didn't work as expected

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.With the fastest modem offered by Comcast in my area (speeds of over 1.2G) and Apples newest MacBook Pro 16GB Max, I actually got significant slower speeds when using the Powerline 2000 versus the Wifi on both the MacBook and a M1 Mac mini. The Powerline devices were placed on the opposite sides of a shared wall to fully test a best case scenario and I was still unable to benefit from them. While there may be some scenario where they could work well, they did not for me.

Weak signal

The good news is that it worked, but the signal was extremely weak…about 6 megabits of data. not worth my money. I decided to buy a goCoax MoCA 2.5 adapter on Amazon instead which gives me full signal strength. Amazing!
