Worth a shot?
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Didn't work in my home, my understanding is that these devices are hit-or-miss. Try it out, if it doesn't work, return it.

Works well if you are lucky...
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I recently got 1Gb Ethernet and my wireless was a bit spotty on performance in certain rooms of the house, so I picked up the Powerline 2000 to see if I could get better performance over the wires in the walls of my house. Short answer is not really. My direct ethernet performance from the modem to my desktop measured ~900Mb/s. The best performance on the Powerline that I ever saw was ~100Mb/s. But it was very stable at ~100Mb/s. Wasn't really worth $100 for that performance. Looking at a better way to improve my wireless (mesh networks).

Useful
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Got it to maximize my PlayStation connection without connecting it directly to the router. Helps a little bit, definitely better than without it but sometimes the internet will still lag.

Not for my needs
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I tried using these in a two story townhome and it didn’t work out the way I had hoped. Seems like there was no improvements over standard wifi connections

Not good opt for my apt
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The performance might differ. For my new apartment, 1G Att fiber, it can only get 100M at most.

Not sure...
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm not sure if it was the powerlines in my complex or if they just sucked. I returned them regardless. I live in really old apartments. I'm thinking that was my issues.

Works great most of the time
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This works fine most of the time but every now and then, it slows to a crawl for some reason and you have to power cycle it for it to get back to working normal.

unsure
||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.what do these things even do? i followed the directions, but the directions aren't very clear nor explain their use well-- absolutely no difference in my Wifi speed. Maybe i bought the wrong thing but this is what was recommended by the service provider-- AT&T, now their service is the real joke. these were very, very expensive. Now they're just paper weights.

Haven’t noticed a change
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We bought this due to difficulty with our internet (slowness, upload issues, etc.). Not a lot of options in our area. Hoped it would help. We haven’t seen a change.

Works Great
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It’s great add on when you need network add on without adding or drilling any holes... down side: a little bulky but gets the job done.

Not worth it.
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought to increase internet speeds in my bedroom. There was very little difference in the speed once I got everything hooked up. Either the product doesn't work or my wifi is just that good? Lol. I also bought this version because I assumed it would only block 1 outlet that would be replaced by the one on the front. I was wrong. While it did give me one outlet on the front, it still blocks both outlets on the wall. Also, the included ethernet cables are not long enough.

Returned
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is only great if 100mbps is enough for you. I have a gigabit connection would have been satisfied if it was closer to 400 megabits per second or higher.

You'll have to make a second trip for returning it
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This product says it will handle up to 2gbps, but I dont believe it's possible to transfer that much volume over electrical infrastructure. I have 1gig fiber service and the maximum speed I could get was 30-65mbps. I tested it on every plug in my house without any improvement. The device showed this as a "good" connection speed. How can the green light be activated at that speed?....because the product can't transfer more data than ~35mbps. Although I had wanted to have a reliable hardwired connection, my wifi connection speed is ~600mbps at the farthest room in my house. Connection stability isn't worth accepting an abysmal connection speed.

Ok
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is ok it’s usually more stable in a large house than the WiFi but still not as fast or as reliable as plugging directly in to the router.

45 minutes waiting for support help
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Less than 3 months old and the units repeatedly lose connection. Tried contacting customer support and after waiting on hold for a total of 45 minutes, I get a support person who tells me my router is the problem. I have multiple access points connected to my router and the one access point connected through this powerline adapter loses connection.

Worked but ended up going a different direction.
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It worked ok but didnt get the speed I was hoping for. Ended up going for a mesh wifi system instead. Still using this for one wired connection.

Not good for crossing electrical circuits
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Despite the rating for 2000, the best that I can get for these with my gig internet is around 200. I have moved them around to different outlets to try to get more, but I think the main issue is the fact that they are on separate circuits in my house. Kinda defeats the purpose of using powerline if I can't leave the room I have the router in though

Not very good speeds
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought these to try and get a stable internet connection from the front of my house to the back bedroom. These barely could get me 50mbps with AT&T 1gig fiber. Tried just about every plug with same results. Even used two plugs in the same room and got the same speeds to make sure it wasn't caused by line degradation. Ended up purchasing a couple Asus routers and using Aimesh which fixed my issue with internet across the home.
