Don't recommend if your home has cable line.

I wasn't impressed with it. It's only up to 100 Mbps. I have 1 gbp speed. It can't reach more than 100 Mbps. I decided to return it and bought moca. It's much better than powerline adapter! It can reach 800 Mbps download and upload! Con about moca if you have cable line then ur good to go! If you don't then powerline adapter is for you.

They work. You have to play around some with outlet placement for the best signal. Careful plugged in around other larger electronics and with power strips, introduces a lot of noise.

    Loss of connection.

Losing connection, I need to unplug from the wall and plug it back in. I have the version without the plug and it is much more reliable, no signal loss at all. I love the idea and the other version has worked great, just not this version.

I bought this item after seeing its top rated status on tech review sites and the claimed speeds up to 2 GB. My house was built in 2004 so we don't have terribly old electric wiring but I'm barely getting 36 MB speed. I work from home and that speed will not cut it. I'll have to look into a wifi extender or run a hard line connection to my office.

Although it functionally worked, but it's bulky. Due to its bulkiness, you'll lose one AC outlet which is really bad. I still have TPLink and the size is more compact than NetGear. Unfortunately, I could not find TPLink anymore in my local BestBuy.

Flakey. Been using Netgear products for years and these were a disappointment. Worked some of the time. Now sitting in a box in the corner of my office since I missed the return date

So far so good. I added this because I needed to add a line to my gaming computer and our wifi signal is not great on the other side of our house. I haven’t experienced any interference or drop outs yet with this unit.

    Great but blocks both outlets

The top piece of this product extends too high and blocks both outlets instead of just 1. I fixed this by buying 0.5ft extension cables to plug the extender into

I actually have a basis for comparison in this case. I upgraded to these from an AV1000 kit from a generic Chinese vendor. I paid about 40 bucks for the old kit from Amazon(they don’t sell it anymore). These were replacements so I plugged them into the exact same outlets that the old ones were in. Find a plug showed green(ideal conditions). The old kit got me between 80 and 90 mbps all day and night with less than a 1 ms ping to the router. These things gave me between 1 and 10 mbps with very brief spikes to almost where it should be...then slow again. Pings spike to over 500 ms. Hopefully I can return these. I am very disappointed in Netgear.

Worked well for awhile. now is slower than wifi. i cant even do my bank login with it anymore because the speed needs to be faster. i wanted ethernet speeds. dont expect it. i also wanted the security of logins without using wifi, but no more. it had worked well in the past, so i am confused.

Mediocre performance out of the box and completely failed after 3-months, I always buy the Netgear brand for reliability and performance, but hit product is worse than useless,
