Connected this device to multiple outlets and best speed was below 20mpbs. Ended up getting a Moca to run on coax & got speeds of 150mbps.

Was getting slower speeds from this than over WiFi. 20-40mbps out of multiple outlets in the house, 400+Mbps over WiFi. Cat6 cable that plugged directly into my laptop from the router gave full speeds also so the issue was clearly with this product. Ultimately returned it.

Did not work as the store rep told me. Kept doing what the store told me to do, even bought other items as they told us to do, as they be said it was our router. It wasn’t. Make sure you understand how your router and WiFi work. And, how far you will be from it. Disappointed as I was past the return period.

I really know if they work or not I didn’t really see a change in my internet from my game system

Bought this to extend wifi to my basement, it doesn’t really help any. The WiFi still lags and disconnects

Unfortunately, i was not aware it needed to be directly plugged into the wall when purchased, so i had to return it.

Was unable to get anywhere close to advertised speeds. Maybe it will work in your installation — did not work at our home. Had to return and will need to run additional Ethernet. Worth a shot!

You’d think these would reach far and boost the signal via Lan, but even 5 ft away the signal was weakened. I bought these to daisy chain for wireless cameras, but they did not do the job.

Came with a scratch on it , but I didn’t see it until after it was installed. Otherwise, I am sure it will be fine.

It hasn't helped my connectivity issue. as it turns out I just need a new computer.

My wifi connection is twice as fast as the net gear system.

Bought this for my sons xbox. He loves being able to play online as if he is hard wired to the internet vs on Wifi.

This product is great when it works, unfortunately when it fails Netgear want you to pay for a replacement even though the item is within the 12 month warranty period. After 10 months one of the plugs failed, which happens so I am ok with that. The item is within the 12 month warranty so I call Support. Netgear support start off by telling me I need to pay for technical support as the product is over 3 months old, but I do not need technical support I need a replacement. They agree to replace my product but I need to pay to ship the defective item to them before they will send the replacement. No other company has ever asked me to pay to ship them back one of their defective items This review would have been 5 stars if they had provided the cost of shipping To replace my item.

After reading a few reviews on this product I decided to give it a try, sadly the design is what lets it down. I wanted to add a hardline connection for more stable internet in my theater room. This did provide that, but the speeds were not much better than the wifi I already had and the design of this covered a second outlet which ultimately was the reason I returned it.

Will be returning for false advertisement. And yes the product did lie. The manual says it is better than WIFI in every way but also "If the light is yellow its between 50 and 80 Mbps" Mine was yellow and I got 20Mbps. For refrence I am using this to reduce ping and I expected my speed to be cut in half. Wifi: 14ms ping, 250Mbps Download, 300 Mbps Upload. Powerline: 7ms ping, 20Mbps Download, 5Mbps Upload. Worthless, Went from high speed (Expected about 100Mbps down and upload), to worse than a modern 3rd world countries internet. You need to do better NETGEAR. From now on ONLY buy ASUS. Netgear never provides accurate information for any network adapter, extenders, routers or any internet products. ASUS never lied and is cheaper.

I have an ac2400 router and once I set this up it crashed everything

No need to buy one this powerful. It’s only pickup 60mbps when modem puts out 800+ directly.

I picked these up over a year ago and they work alright, when they choose to work. Basically if these things aren't plugged into wall outlets 10 feet or closer, you are lucky to get dial up speeds IF it works at all. Don't even bother trying these to run internet to out a garage or even on a separate circuit.

it does not give any better internet than the wireless in my upstairs room.

Wifi download speeds higher than this product. Needed to work from home but wifi router upstairs so not the best connection, this was worse
