Don't buy if using a spectrum router
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this to lose the 2 55 feet Ethernet cables I have running from my router to my xboxs. Wouldn't work with my spectrum router and when they was wired directly to my modem it cut my speed down by over half. Not impressed for the price. Might of worked with a aftermarket router but not with my spectrum issued router.

Slow!!

Not any help 2 bridge WiFi for Voice over IP phone

Can’t say it helped with issue as the connection worked but phone sound quality is terrible. Not sure if phone or this method of connection not being direct to router. Certainly no help at Best Buy to resolve.

Don't work as advertised

I purchased 4 and they connected fine but when I added two more adaptors, the connection speed on all the adapters drops to unusable rates. The spec say up to 16 adaptors. Based upon the support forums on Netgear, it is a known issue with the adaptors that Netgear has not addressed. My attempts to get help from Netgear customer support has been a waste of time.

Don’t wast your money

I have fiber optic and 1 gigabit speed and when I set this up I was only getting 8 to 15 MPS that is Unacceptable In my opinion. And it’s not that the plug was that far from the router

Non functional after a few weeks.

I was hoping these would be an upgrade over the cheap ones I've been using for years. One didn't work right out of the box. Took a lot of process of elimination to figure that out. I used the second one with one of my old ones for a few weeks and then it failed.

Dont buy

Didn't even bother trying to return it. I had previously purchased the same one, lasted exactly 2 years. I am online about 45 hours a week.
