Loss of connection.
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Losing connection, I need to unplug from the wall and plug it back in. I have the version without the plug and it is much more reliable, no signal loss at all. I love the idea and the other version has worked great, just not this version.

Works well, but one unit turned defective
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.NETGEAR honored it under warranty, I think a refurb was sent as a replacement

They work
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. They work. You have to play around some with outlet placement for the best signal. Careful plugged in around other larger electronics and with power strips, introduces a lot of noise.

It's bulky...
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Although it functionally worked, but it's bulky. Due to its bulkiness, you'll lose one AC outlet which is really bad. I still have TPLink and the size is more compact than NetGear. Unfortunately, I could not find TPLink anymore in my local BestBuy.

Doesn't work as advertised
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this item after seeing its top rated status on tech review sites and the claimed speeds up to 2 GB. My house was built in 2004 so we don't have terribly old electric wiring but I'm barely getting 36 MB speed. I work from home and that speed will not cut it. I'll have to look into a wifi extender or run a hard line connection to my office.

Alright product but doesn’t give speed
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Over all I can only get up to 350mbs with 1.2g internet in just a room away from the router also

Complete junk
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I actually have a basis for comparison in this case. I upgraded to these from an AV1000 kit from a generic Chinese vendor. I paid about 40 bucks for the old kit from Amazon(they don’t sell it anymore). These were replacements so I plugged them into the exact same outlets that the old ones were in. Find a plug showed green(ideal conditions). The old kit got me between 80 and 90 mbps all day and night with less than a 1 ms ping to the router. These things gave me between 1 and 10 mbps with very brief spikes to almost where it should be...then slow again. Pings spike to over 500 ms. Hopefully I can return these. I am very disappointed in Netgear.

Works Great!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So far so good. I added this because I needed to add a line to my gaming computer and our wifi signal is not great on the other side of our house. I haven’t experienced any interference or drop outs yet with this unit.

Intermittent at best
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Flakey. Been using Netgear products for years and these were a disappointment. Worked some of the time. Now sitting in a box in the corner of my office since I missed the return date

Good

Don't recommend if your home has cable line.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I wasn't impressed with it. It's only up to 100 Mbps. I have 1 gbp speed. It can't reach more than 100 Mbps. I decided to return it and bought moca. It's much better than powerline adapter! It can reach 800 Mbps download and upload! Con about moca if you have cable line then ur good to go! If you don't then powerline adapter is for you.

Great but blocks both outlets
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The top piece of this product extends too high and blocks both outlets instead of just 1. I fixed this by buying 0.5ft extension cables to plug the extender into

100 Mbps
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this bridge my gigabyte service from one side of the house to the other. I tried several different outlets and could only get around 100 Mbps so I returned it.

Very reliable wi-fi extender (see review below)
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I use my Powerline 2000 system in conjunction with a Wi-FI Extender that is setup for transmit to extend the range of a signal with little (if any) loss of signal integrity. The setup has been on for over six months now without incident.

not as fast as my wifi
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Worked well for awhile. now is slower than wifi. i cant even do my bank login with it anymore because the speed needs to be faster. i wanted ethernet speeds. dont expect it. i also wanted the security of logins without using wifi, but no more. it had worked well in the past, so i am confused.

Dont buy this useless item
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had been using this for less than 6 month and I always have problem after problem with this crap. It first started with the red light, when the red ligh its on be prepared because the connection will go at 0.4mb/s. And now the connection says that is has no valid ip so basically I have no connection to internet when I have to be working right now. Just GREAT NETGEAR.

Works great-most of the time
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Using to feed a smart TV and an Xbox off the same unit. Occasionally, its speed slows to a crawl especially if you lose power. A reset helps get you going again. Just be sure to set a security code when you reset

Pray to your god to ban this item
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you want to keep your marriage and your kids happy don't buy this item. I spent 3 days trying to get this to work yelling to my wife or kids to push the button before the time was up.... I am now living in the garage as the wife and kids took over the house. This device is the devil and will destroy your life when trying to get it to work. The people that got it to work must of sacrificed a goat or chicken as I don't get involved with the devils magic. Sincerely, Lonely guy in the garage
