Got this power line Ethernet extender to connect a computer in another room. Very easy to setup. High speed wired connection through this device is very fast and highly effective and reliable than WiFi. I recommend this product.

I bought the Netgear Powerline 2000 with extra outlet because my Wifi, despite being only two rooms away from the router, was constantly dropping signal. The setup was simple (honestly the hardest part was figuring out which outlet to use). Make sure you have a long enough ethernet cable to reach your router since this adapter needs to plug directly into the wall.
I've had it for a month, and there have been no network drops or problems with it. I've even got an old router plugged into the other side so I can have more ports, and there have been no problems with that either.
Yes, it's a little pricier than some of the others, but it's worth it for the extra ports and the outlet run through. I am planning to buy another pair in the future to expand the network even farther.

I was experiencing lag and packet loss while gaming on my pc with a wifi connection. This power line adapter fixed the lag and packet loss. I also get the exact download speed that I am suppose to get. It was plug in and play. Definitely recommend.

Tried one of these years ago. Really slow, connection issues. Moved into new place with no ethernet wiring. Went to buy wireless adapter and saw this. Really glad I did. Super easy install and speeds are exactly the same as a direct ethernet cable.

I purchased a pair of the Powerline 2000 AV LAN devices to extend from my router to a basement room.
I used them to connect from an ASUS AX88U to an AX58U running in AiMesh mode.
Connected right off and maintained great speeds. Worked just as I had hoped!

I needed an ethernet connection on the opposite end of my house from the router so that I could work from home during this coronavirus stuff and didn't want to run a cord all through my home. This is so easy to set up and I get a good fast hardwired connection wherever I need it.

These are easy to set up, easy to use, and easy to tweak. There are little lights on the bottom that will tell you exactly what the problem is and how to fix it. Connection is fast and easy. 10/10 would recommend

Almost no setup. Works perfectly. Very stable although not as fast as it sounds (probably due to my wiring and extended distance). Faster than my old powerline 200, though. Really like and needed the two network jacks. Great product. Had no problem setting up encryption. I stream HD video with no problem with this.

I have used powerline networking products in the past.. It's been a while though.. back in the day I had a powerline product that would do about 1Mbps... very slow, but worked.. This product was extremely fast!
Not a problem with this product but it was so fast it actually killed the power in my living room. So it uses more power to achieve the higher speeds.. I have a lot going on in my living room, so it tripped the breaker for the living room.. I have a firewall that allows me to throttle the connection for the devices that use the powerline product, so i throttled it down to like 30Mbps..
Since i have throttled things down in my living room, i haven't had to reset the devices one time.. It just works...
I did try and use this across different circuits and it worked but it was much slower.. This is why i chose to do the throttling option vs going across a different circuit, but i can say it did work from one circuit to another..

This outlet has helped boost the internet connection while 3 different gaming systems are connected at the same time. I receive great connection in the garage as well. It definitely saved me a lot of money instead of going with other options. Easy to set up as well, just follow the directions.

I can't believe this works! After trying to get wiring to the other side of my house, I heard about these and thought it was too good to be true, but WOW, they work. It was simple to set up and was far cheaper than having wiring done in the house.

I was hesitant about getting these but figured I had a relatively new house (built in the 90s), so hopefully, the wiring was good. I wanted to move my wired printer and network drive to a different location in the house, away from where my modem and router are. So, I plugged one into the wall on one side of the house where I wanted the printer and drive, and the other one on the other side of the house where my DSL modem and router was. Connected both to the Powerline with an ethernet cable, and it all just worked! Seamless! No configuration of anything! That may have perhaps been the simplest networking setup I've ever done in my 30 years of dealing with networking equipment. Nice job, Netgear! I would highly recommend these. I have no idea how much the quality of the house wiring affects these, but I would think it would have some. Definitely worth a try.

I purchased this pair of Powerline 2000 to replace an identical unit that stopped working after about 2 years. If not for that failure I'd rate these 5 stars. The bandwidth and performance is outstanding. I have one of these plugged into my router (which is right next to my cable modem) and another plugged into the wall in my home office. My internet speeds on my office computers indicate that these are not a limiting factor in my data rates. The convenience factor cannot be overstated. Just be sure to plug them into outlets that are on the same leg of the AC so that you're not trying to run the signal out through the electric utility's transformer.

I have always used powerline networking as my isp speeds never exceeded what I could achieve with powerline adaptors. Then I got a gigabit connection...well 11 mbp throughput was just not going to cut it anymore... time to upgrade. While I don't get true gigabit speeds I am happy with the 70 to 80 mbps I now get. I run lots of servers and WSUS so speed for updates was critical. At some stage might just go into the expense of cabling up the house... but till then this is covers all my needs. Remember condition of your home electrical wiring will play a big role in your throughput experience.

I bought 4 of these, 1 connects to my router and the other 3 go to 2 Roku TV's with 2 Fire Sticks and and my other goes to another TV just with Fire Stick - (note: all 3 of my Fire Sticks have the Ethernet adapter connected to them) but remember the Roku TV's and the Fire Stick only can receive 100 Mbps Max - so in reality for me it's "overkill" for all my devices, since this Netgear Powerline 2000 can distribute 1000Mbps Gigabit speeds to any device that can accept 1000Mbps.
On all my devices that can only accept 100Mbps, I actually tested the speeds and im receiving approx 88Mbps speeds at 75 feet away, this is very good, because I had the lower end Netgear Powerline 500 products connected before these newer Powerline 2000 and they only tested at 45 Mbps at the same distance of 75 feet. So even though it's "overkill" it's worth using these because their twice as fast ;)
