Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Only non panisonic wireless adapter that works on my new plasma. Plugged it in, connected with push to connect, updated software on tv and was watching Netflix in 5 minunites without wires. Great product

Not a good choice for 64-bit Windows 7 machines.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I followed the instructions provided with the product. I installed the drivers from the CD (Note: it asks at this point to check internet for updates. Huh? I'll have NO INTERNET CONNECTION at this computer until I install the device.) The manual shows a screen appearing for the adapter to connect to your wireless router, it did not do so automatically. I had to click on the icon at the bottom toolbar to get the screen to appear. Once I got this screen, the manual says to press the "N" button to get the LED to blink blue. The Adapter was already blinking blue so this step seemed confusing and unnecessary. Moving forward, the software says you have 2-minutes to press the button on your router that looks like a padlock to automatically connect to the USB adapter. I have the Netgear WNR2000 that includes this button shown. it took multiple attempts to get the two to link up. One feature that convinced me to buy the product was that it said it had the "best range." I have the router upstairs and this computer in in the kitchen, which is located downstairs. It taking multiple attempts of pressing the button before the devices finally linking up does not convince me of its range capability. Once, they were connected, I had internet, but not without lost connections! A search of the internet discovered that Netgear knows that this device does not behave well in a 64-bit environment, and they have no plan on making a driver that will work! So, I found this site http://wnda310064bit.webs.com/ that provided a fix that has, so far, made the thing behave. Unless you're tech savvy or enjoy fixing computer problems with your 64-bit machine, I'd pass on the Netgear WNDA3100v2.

Easy to recover lost wireless capability
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My first unit failed to work but Best Buy made it easy for me to get a replacement that worked well. Interestingly, the CD included for the plug and play recovered my unit (internally) so I didn't have to use the plug in. I won't leave home without the unit now. My computer is old and cantankerous (just like its owner) so it's nice to have reliability when I need it most on this old box of circuits.

Better than nothing
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It was easy to set up. Enhances reception but not as well as expected. It works best when there is little usage on the internet connection that you are connecting to. I my RV outside of my home about 70 feet from the home modem the reception is very low between 1-6.5 mbps and it varies.

Easy install & works great!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Installing adapter to my desktop was simple and setting up my profile and security for the wireless internet was easy. The speed is sufficient enough for my main use which is surfing the net on my computer and streaming High Def (1080p) movies on my PS3. I have no complaints as of yet.

Great Dual-Band Wireless USB
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Since I live in a two story house that does not have the best for wireless signals, I decided to purchase the Netgear Wireless Dual-Band USB connector. Software was easy to load on the CPU. Once I programed my router for encryption, I was able to find the signal and start my set up. I can tell you that my through-put is a wapping 214MB's. I do online gaming (Team Fortress) and found that I actually gained connection speed compaired to my IP over powerline. I am able to download documents and browse much faster. My kids complain to me that I am to fast and they want the same. I think they will stay with the land line connection!! Its well worth the price and I could not be any more happier.

Better than expected
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The instruction book states that it takes 10 minutes to install. To my surprise that includes the unpacking of the product. I inserted the disk, ran the program, plugged in the USB adapter when asked to and after entering my wi-fi password I was on-line. No guessing what the instructions mean, not retryng the install, it just worked.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This product is easy to install, but be sure and follow the instructions carefully, as it is easy make a mistake. Also, I would get the warrantee with this product. It can start to drop the signal.

simple set-up, easy to use
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The N600 usb wireless connector is simple and very easy to set-up. You don't need to download the whole cd program to make it run. Fairly decent range...wished it was a little longer as we are in a large building, but it does the job it was intended to do.

Decent and Works
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall it works as a wifi adapter. I do run into a few connectivity issues here and there, where it'll drop me for a hot second. However it hold a very strong speed the other times. The only time I would see this to be an issue is if you are a gamer.

Excellent
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I needed a wireless nic for a computer that I could reach with CAT-5. I chose this one because of the good reviews and I've been very happy with it. I've been using it for the past 2 month with no trouble at all. Very easy to install and setup.

Easy As Pie To Install!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have to admit I was very skeptical of this product after having read all the negative reviews but I gave it a shot anyway and I couldn't be happier. The install was as easy as any install I have ever experienced. I knew it had issues with the range on the 5Ghz setting but it was acceptable to me as I never planned on being to far from my router when on 5Ghz anyway as I am a DJ and I broadcast live online and wanted a way to optimize my video broadcast without hardlining to my router. The network bandwidth performance is nothing short of stunning. As I'm writing this review I have a connection of 300mbps and I'm connected in 2.4Ghz mode. In short, you don't have to be a NASA scientist to set this adapter up and you will not regret it. One thing though......I did buy version 2 as I have read that version 1 has issues.

Great external fix
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If your router is putting it out, this picks it up. It about 10 minutes your online. (Disable your current wifi card if your having issues with it.) Run the Setup on the CD. Plug in the adapter to a usb, connect to the network (I used the WEP). Your all set to go. I had to order a network card t replace the one in the laptop that had died but this had me back online in just a few minutes, Ill probably go ahead and replace the card and keep this as a backup, but it gives such good wifi reception that is not a must. Great also for adding wifi to a laptop that does not have wifi. But you will have no bluetooth with this device alone, but usb bluetooth adapters are also available as a work around to that.

Pricey, but works great!!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I recommend this, but it is a little expensive. I had it disconnect a couple different times and I had to unplug it and plug it back in. Other than that it has a fast connection. I'm using it on a desktop PC to avoid running Cat5 cables all over the house. Satisfied so far!

The only product that won't connect to my network
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have spent hours trying to connect to the internet wirelessly using the WNDA3100v2 adapter. I have 2 computers, 2 phones, and a tablet all connected to the network and this adapter is the ONLY one that does not work. I have tried installing with the software on the CD, both with the genie and standalone. After reading the software with CD may not be compatible with windows 7 I've hardwired the computer to the router and installed drivers from the website. Both the genie software and standalone installation do not work. Terrible product and a waste of time.
