The WNDA3100 works well, but the installation directions and recommendations were absolutely horrible. It took a combined six hours, over three days, to get it working after I rebooted the computer. After restarting the system, it would not connect to the wireless NETGEAR RangeMax Next router. In the installion guide, the instructions recommended using the Neatgear Smart Wizard to setup the wireless adapter during install. It was this advice that appears to be my issue. After installing and uninstalling too many times to count, I went with Windows XP (SP2) to configure and my wireless adapter now automatically connects. Some notes: Why do device manufactures direct you to a web site if you are installing one of their wireless connection device? They need to include 1-800-anumber in their installation guide tech support section (real customer support) - vice referring to a website that I could not access. :-( Secondly, I had it running once and got a blue screen of death. Seems to be an issue with older versions of the device driver. I had to right click my computer, search for the WAN device, manually remove it and reinstall the software to get the computer to recognize the device....would not recognize the USB device until I manually deleted the USB device and then deleted the Smart Wizard software and reinstalled it. I am sure over time I will enjoy this device, but am very disaapointed with how the install went....and I have intermediate level experience in computer and component installs. For now I would only recommend this device with caution, since it was such a pain in the A$* to install. I hope this helps with your install.

Difficult to install, required a call to tech support, but the agent was knowledgable and walked me through the installation process. The installation CD was useless because the computer had to be reconfigured three times. Make sure they take your phone number and get theirs as well as their agent name and number in case you get disconnected. If they don't give it to you, my experience is that they will be rude and will disconnect without helping you. I had to call tech support more than once for both the router and the USB connector and 5 out of 7 agents were helpful, the other 2 were rude and obnoxious.

It was a snap to get up and running. Installed the software, plugged it into a USB port and connected it wirelessly to my router.

This adapter is used to connect a PC in another room. Works perfectly and does the job with Skype, which is why I bought the PC.

Not much to say, it's a wifi adapter and it does it's job well. It manages to pick up a signal through two concrete block walls and a garage door.

This little gem will turn an un-networked computer into a networked one, even if it doesn't have WiFi on board. 'Nuff said?

Ran the software plugged it in and waa laa connected to our network,that simple, you dont need to be a Geek to make it work...

Serves if purpose well. It has not dropped a signal since installation. Setup was not cumbersome and price was within reason.

I purchased this to replace one I had previously by different vendor. My speed is much better and it doesn't drop the connection.

I wanted to purchase an internal nic card, but opted for the USB external. I'm very glad I did.

Very easy to install and works great in a multi level enviroment. Instalation instruction was very easy to follow. Windows 7 has no compatibiliy issues

The NETGEAR RangeMax Dual-Band Wireless-N USB Adapter is great. Easy to setup and has been working great. I haven't noticed any lag.

Bought this beauty to give me internet access when my ethernet went down. Plug and Play, works great, no problems whatsoever.
